• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

You never know what you'll get.

We have 4 eggs left, two are from the "tiger" project. Two are from my "uber" egg layer Venus - 17 clutches this year. Venus's eggs hatched yesterday and today. Today's hatchling was a shock! A Stripe - the first one of all of her clutches. She will be added to the tiger project to see what happens next year.

Terry

I'm guessing addressing it to Overton, somewhere in Idaho, will get it to you ;-)

Next thing I know you'll be asking me to snatch pebbles from your chopper incased hand, and walking on rice paper and not making wrinkles ;-)

I already have the geckos brands from picking up the burning cauldrins with my wrists!

Obscure reference to the old 70's tv show Kung Fu:

http://www.kungfu-guide.com/overview.html

He had to got through a series of trials to become a kung fu master - snatching pebbles from his master's hand, walking on rice paper and not tearing it or making it wrinkle, and as a final test he picked up a burning hot cauldron that had embossed dragons on either side that burned scars into his skin.

I figured you were old enough to get it, but alas you were not.

Kung Fu?

Geez Terry, when I grew up, we lived on a farm and got 2 stations - CBS and NBC - and when we turned the antennae just right - we got a fuzzy ABC.

Kung Fu - shoot I was lucky to see Captain Kangaroo . . .
