In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Let's PARTEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!USARK sign-up !!!!!!

Man, so many awesome people in Texas that I never got to meet while I was living there. :( Although it's probably a good thing I moved back to Utah, otherwise I would be dead within months after discovering a food like fried oreos.

One of my favorite foods ever is cheese on a stick. It's basically a corndog with melted cheese inside instead of a hotdog.

That cheese snack sounds wonderful :)
If I ever visit Utah I'll bring a mini fryer and some Oreos.

Utah is actually getting three reptile expos this year, which is a record. We used to only have one a year. I sure wouldn't complain if NARBC decided to stop by though...

Those wurst on a stick are sounding pretty good too. All that time spent in Germany has made me a sausage lover. Yeah, I have no shame. :D

Fried oreos are fantastic. I can only eat maybe four before I start feeling sick, because they're rich as all get-out. I especially like the oreos with the peanut butter creme filling fried. <3

On a recent bad food binge, I discovered beignets. If there's a Heaven, there's piles of beignets there.

How many new supporters we up to now? We need a Vanna White in a long sequined gown to wave her hands at the tally board once in a while. Nick, you up for it?

Heck yes! On the way to the thrift store to look for a sequin gown now :)

And fried Oreos are just wrong LOL. They make them at the carnivals here and I must of knocked a year off my life the last time I tried them.

heres a virtual feast for this party
main course filet mignon with a red wine redux, with baby sauteed carrots and roasted fingerling potatoes.
and for desert a apple rose tart with vanilla ice cream with candied mint leaf topper

Hold on I'll be right there :D

What?? No more people have just $5 in their pocket to join and $5 a month? That seems like a deal!
I don't eat as much fast food as I used to but a couple weeks ago I had a McDonald's breakfast and it was around $4. So $5/month seems pretty reasonable to have USARK protect our rights.

That's cheaper than a crappy cup of coffee. If you keep herps, surely you've got a measly five bucks a month to spare. Especially if you're selling anything.

I wish they offered the other levels on a subscription plan. I don't often have a couple hundred that isn't earmarked for something else, but a few bucks a month we don't miss.

For those wondering how it works, you sign up and you immediately pay the first $5, and then every month after on that date another $5 is automatically sent to them. Great deal!

Lucille, I hear ya. We pretty much stopped eating the fast food altogether because of the health factor, but it also doesn't taste like it used to. A lot of those foods get the bulk of their calories from cheap carbs, like bread and potatoes. Last year I did six months of time where I ditched any grain, potato, processed sugar or legumes and dropped fifty pounds with no added exercise. Still ate tons of sweets and could sit and eat a whole brick of full-fat cream cheese as a snack. I hope to lose the other fifty this year.

All this fried oreo and cheese talk got me drooling, so out of guilt I gathered what little self-discipline I have and decided that maybe stuffed crust, meatlover's pizza isn't the best thing for me tonight. *bam* Saved and paid for this month's fee right there! XD

I just joined this forum and USARK today. How long does it take to be verified through USARK?
Welcome Michael! For USARK, I got my receipt right away, but my account wasn't approved for log-ins until today~

Trying to get more people interested. The herp community is in a good place right now to unite behind USARK. Maybe we can even get the four banned species taken off that stupid list. :)

Did Lucille say critters?!?!?! This is our newest family member, her name is Skeeter. She's wearing her "satellite" trying to send messages to all herpers big and small to join USARK! Go Skeeter Go!
