• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Let's PARTEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!USARK sign-up !!!!!!

Folks,
On behalf of USARK's board of directors and president, I would like to sincerely thank all of you for your renewed support in USARK. Its been a bit of a roller coaster over the past month or two, but I think we have come out of this stronger, invigorated, and unified as a board. We have a new president and the year ahead looks very promising.

It is only with the support of the herp keeping community that we can keep doing what we are doing, and that cost money. While we have pushed the large constrictor issues strongly in the recent past, we realize that threats are evident for all of our herps, and thus our grass roots support with financial contributions will make that possible.

Thank you all again, and while I am extremely busy with my lab, students, teaching, and family, I try to pop onto this site at least a few times weekly. If you have any questions that I might be able to answer, send me an email or message and I will see what I can do.

Thank you,
Warren

Glad to be a part of USARK and a new member of Fauna

I received my shirt Wednesday and it's super cool! Thanks USARK and gang! I'm refusing to break in it's "newness" until the local reptile show on March 3rd and will post pics then!

I got my shirt delivered while I was at NARBC I was so sad to see the tracking that'd it would arrive on Friday after I'd left my house to make it to Arlington. I'll post a photo when I have a moment. Only issue I have is which reptile shall I use in the photo with me xD

Just signed up, add me to the list. Wet t-shirt pics to come!

:toetap05: You owe us ladies, Nick!

Made another monthly payment a few days ago, and it prompted me to check in here and see how everyone is doing.

Anyone else sign up?

I will deliver but not impress! I'm thinking polar plunge at the beach. I gotta get the new pup use to the sand.

Well, a promise is a promise. I also wanted to bump this thread to remind people to donate to USARK.

I had the pleasure of meeting Phil Goss, the new president, at a Utah council meeting regarding one of my friends and his boa constrictors. Very nice guy, has his own snakes, and genuinely cares about our community.

If every person who owned a reptile donated just $1 to USARK, they would have MILLIONS to defend us with. As it is they don't make nearly that amount. That should change. :)
