Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It’s not even for me lol. I don’t really like the Easterns. It’s for a buddy off mine. He keeps a ton of Blood Pythons and 1 West African Gaboon. He’s interested in an Eastern if he can get his hands on one

Ahh gotcha. I only like the Easterns lol. I wish you luck though - he’d probably have to import one from Europe if he wants one at this point. People charging $1000 for one CB locality baby over there too. It’s wild how much they’ve gone up in price

$1000?! I need to breed mine! I’ve got WCs from Cameroon.
 
They come around time to time, you need to be on the look out for Bitis Gabonica, most of the people that have them don’t advertise them as Eastern Gaboons. I have a trio but they are many years from producing offspring. Papa Goat and Fascination Herps are the only sellers that I have seen lately with anything for sale. I haven’t seen a CBB in YEARS come up, most things these days are imports. There’s nothing wrong with imports as long as you quarantine, etc.
 
To my knowledge there isn't any true CBB East African gaboons in the states that were produced in the US. Just people selling them as CBB from gravid imports for a marked up price. I currently Keep 5 East African adults at my facility and working on breeding them out. There is only a few documentations of East African gaboons breeding in captivity and that happened in Europe. Heck even the CBB "East African" Nasicornis that were produced a few years ago here in the states looked like East/West Nasicornis hybrids. I'll stand by my comment until someone post a confirmed lock of East African gaboons here in the states
