    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Dude we’ve seen you in the Facebook groups. It’s a small community. I’ve seen you want a lancehead because you “think it looks cool”. I’ve seen your abysmal handling of a 12inch copperhead with a 4 foot hook… and watched you shake like a leaf holding said copperhead with a glove on. “I’ve been keeping for 3 months and been fine…” Are you seriously? You have next to - if not ZERO proper experience with hots, let alone something as serious as an lancehead or a gaboon. You’re going to get yourself tagged and permanently maimed/killed. Which in turn is going to ruin the hobby for the rest of us….
 
I’m not trying to be funny or mean, but 3 months is NOT enough experience for you to be keeping ANY species of Bitis or Naja. Please get some YEARS of keeping AND handling WITHOUT incident, before trying your hand with those 2 species. They WILL put you down if an accident occurs, or with the gabby, you WILL lose whatever it bit.

I shake working with my retics I just reallllly admire snakes.... but thanks anyways just wish i could delete this... probs just gonna run my truck into a tree, just so over everything right now im stupid i know you dont have to rub it in....

Holy shit. Do you even listen to anything anyone has said to you? Is your IQ even high enough for you to comprehend sentences or does it go in one ear and out the other? “Probably going to run my truck into a tree?” This proves my point dude. You’re immature and throwing a tantrum when you don’t get what you want. You have no business owning stuff like this that WILL ruin your life. You think we’re being assholes but it’s probably gonna SAVE your life. No one with any shred of common sense is going to sell to you dude…. You’re going to get tagged, end up on the news, which puts all of us in a bad light, which means more restrictions, in turn - screwing over all of us. I have absolutely no problem with people wanting to learn. I’d love the hobby to grow more. But you show no desire to learn, put in the hours and the work, and actually get comfortable with these things before just diving head first into higher level hots because “you think it’s cool”
