Crazy how standing your ground and having your own approach suddenly makes everyone else the expert on your life. But hey, if disagreeing respectfully is a bannable offense these days, maybe those groups weren’t for me anyway!

but that was the day I got Aries!! I never use a hook and can always just touch and grab him!! he is to sweet!!

I don’t do the ‘bare minimum paper and tub’ approach. My snake’s got a 6x2x2, natural substrate, humidity dialed in, temps on point, and room to move and climb. That’s not ‘extra,’ that’s just proper husbandry. My retic’s living a whole lot better than a paper towel roll in a 4x2.

It’s also wild how people keeping snakes in plastic drawers feel bold enough to criticize a 6x2x2 with substrate, a temp gradient, and enrichment. I’m just trying to give my snake a better life, not win a rack-stacking contest

And yeah, I’ve struggled. I won’t lie — there was a time I didn’t want to be here anymore. I wanted to die. But I didn’t. I chose to keep going. And a big part of that was for my snakes — because they rely on me. They don’t judge, they don’t mock, they don’t walk away when I’m at my worst. They just need care, love, and respect — and they give me a reason to get up every single day.


So say what you want about me, but don’t mistake survival for weakness. I’m still here — and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.
