In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

When I was a little bitty girl I made a net out of a coat hanger and waded in a lake. Before my eyes a giant yellow pollywog surfaced. It got away.

I have sought them ever since like the Holy Grail of amphibians. Does anyone know where albino bullwogs can be obtained? I will raise them in a 400 gallon cow trough. Thanks

I am sorry, the albino pollywog got away. But, that still sounds like a great, but, highly disappointing experience.

I too, love amphibians. I agree, it is one of North Americas most iconic amphibians!!

I would recommend keeping your eye on this specific portion of the forum:http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=56. Also, please, have a look at this specific post: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=570573.

That is a fantastic habitat for them. You, will have some very happy and lucky specimens indeed.

Do albino bullfrogs breed true? It must be a fecesive trait so if albino bullfrog bred albino 'cow'frog, nothing but yellow bullwogs would result. Is that how it works?

Ever since that morning when I was a child wading in a lake- the water was like glass and the mountain forest was mirrored in it. I stood still and before my eyes the big yellow pollywod surfaced. Time stood still. I tried to catch it with my net and it was gone.

Ever since, all my life, I have been haunted by the memory of this creature. It is like the song from Don Quixote the Man of La Mancha

Did my lady think to put me to a test?
Ah, sweet sovereign of my captive heart. I shall
not fail thee, for I know...

I have dreamed thee too long,
Never seen thee or touched thee.
But known thee with all of my heart.
Half a prayer, half a song,
Thou hast always been with me,
Though we have been always apart.

Dulcinea... Dulcinea...
I see heaven when I see thee, Dulcinea,
And thy name is like a prayer
An angel whispers... Dulcinea... Dulcinea!

If I reach out to thee,
Do not tremble and shrink
From the touch of my ... net on your lair.
Let my fingers but see
Thou art cold and alive,
And no phantom to fade in the air.

Dulcinea... Dulcinea...
I have sought thee, sung thee,
Dreamed thee, Dulcinea!
