• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi, I'm new to this site and I hope that I am doing this correctly. I am writing to inform others that I have had extremely great quality interactions with Lindsay Pike at Urotopia. I have purchased three reptiles from him in the past several years. He is nothing but extremely professional and knowledgable. He is responsive to lots of questions being asked and will seek out additional information from others when needed. Lindsay really cares about each individual reptile he sells and he is there for assistance throughout the life of the reptile. He also is genuinely concerned about the "bigger picture" of the survival of the species. Lindsay has many connections within the field and will provide his own as well as others' opinions in areas that are based more in subjective rather than objective information. Lindsay has not only been a life saver who has been so supportive when I have had one of my "over-protective mothering worry moments", but he is also a joy to speak with. His experiences are so vast that I learn more and more each time that I speak with him. I completely trust him. His reptiles are in perfect condition and are shipped with great care and concern. Agree 110% !!!!

I have dealt with Linsdsay Pike over the last 15 years at least. I have purchased probably 100 plus uros from him and even sold him some. All the transactions were completely risk and trouble free. He was responsible for helping me through several of my first breedings including Moroccans and Saharans. His repuatation and knowledge are unmatched in the uro world. If you get an animal from him you can expect 100% from him on helping with any problems that you may incur. He is very factual when it comes to the animals he is reprsenting not confusing his opinion with fact on the origin of his animals like several other uromastyx people I know often do. I can say he has never sold me a bad uro. I still do business with pleasure with Lindsay and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. In my opinion he is the best when it comes to Uros.
 
Uro's

I have also known Lindsay for about 15 years. He is a upstanding guy with more experience than most people know. I think he has bred more different types of uromastyx than any one in the US. Ornates,Macfads, Sudans,egyticus,Benti,Morrocans and Mali. He also produce's uro's every year.
Every single uro I have bout from Lindsay has bin great.
I recommend him to any one interested in uromastyx'

Lindsay Pike - good guy, great reptiles

I've had the pleasure of buying my reptiles (including uromastyx, kingsnakes, and a corn snake) from Lindsay Pike for several years now. From the first phone call and through the years, Lindsay has always been willing to answer my questions and share his knowledge and experience (much to my benefit and the animals'). Lindsay is honest and reliable in his business practices, and it's obvious from the minute you see the animals that Lindsay takes the time to take really good care of them. The animals are shipped on schedule and are always packed carefully so that even the tiniest hatchlings travel safely. Thanks to Lindsay, I've been able to enjoy keeping some truly beautiful and personable lizards and snakes. I'm more than happy to recommend him to anyone looking for a special reptile.

Lindsay Pike - Great Guy!

Hello! My name is Ann Pulliam and I am a newbe on this forum as well. I've been raising uros for 3 years now and have the privilege of working with Lindsay Pike. I bought 2 hatchling ornate uromastyx from Lindsay in July of 2009. They arrived in perfect condition. I know this because I examined them under a lighted magnifying glass when they arrived! Both have acclimated well and are crowning beautifully. Lindsay has been a pleasure to work with since our first conversation before my uros even hatched. He has always responded promptly to my phone or e-mail inquiries. He is very friendly, professional and patient with my many questions regarding baby uros. I know that I can still contact Lindsay with any questions or concerns and he will guide me through what I need to know. I trust his knowledge and experience completely and will gladly refer him to anyone looking for a quality reptile.
 
He's also got some great Western Hognose too. I have a female albino from him who is a great feeder and has had amazing growth. Lindsay was very helpfull and easy to get ahold of, I'm sure I'll buy from him again.
 
I have also purchased a Uro from Lindsey Pike. Very cordial and helpful (loves to chat on the phone!). I would not hesitate to buy from him again in the future.
