In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So my snake pancake is about to shed, she's in blue.
Well I noticed her head skin is wrinkly and loose when I press down on it it seems as though it's fluid filled???? I've never experienced this before.
I'm concerned?
Also I got a shot of the inside of her mouth, there isn't discharge I'm just wondering if the coloration is normal? Thank you!

I guess I'm saying the top of her head and nose is overly squishy and honestly I've never really ventured so close to her head so I'm just concerned because it did look "loose"?
But she's acting normally?
Who knows I'll just keep an eye on her.

I would just keep a eye on it but not be to concerned if shes acting normal. Ive had some babies eye caps seem to absord water from me spraying before shed. They are healthy tho. Good luck.

I don't see the shot of the inside of her mouth, but I'm inclined to go with Chris - they can all look a bit funny pre-shed. Remember they secrete liquid between the old shed and the new skin, that's what makes their eyes go cloudy.

I'd keep an eye on her and I bet it will pass once she sheds. If not, get back on here with more photos!

Good luck - everyone worries with their early snakes, and I don't think anyone on here minds questions - it shows you are paying attention!

Everything looks and sounds normal to me, sometimes that happens when a ball goes in shed, the squishy head and all

:p thank you
I'll be offering her food a little while after she sheds and I'll update.
She's a little pig so I'm not too worried lol

Yeah she's fine...
I do leave her alone to shed lol I've had her for 3 years now.
It's all good... I just check on her every day, I don't pester the bejesus out of her or anything...
That's literally the first time I've ever restrained her for anything...
Sorry

No need to apologize for anything, the above members post was a little on the harsh side, especially since what was posted was already said. Personally, I am glad you asked the question and did what you thought was right in order to find out what was going on! Kudos to you!
