    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy LLL Reptile-Beware!

Yeah, but Scott from LLLReptile mentioned that if Eric had "proof" that the phone call was indeed within there 3 day guarrantee he would credit him back ALL the money, not just $80. Eric is the one that is failing to provide proof, as he is the only one that needs to in this case.

Ok, I just came in on the tail end of this. I have been looking at purchasing a snake from LLLReptiles, so was quite interested in this thread. Here is what I have gotten from it so far.

Eric purchased a reptile (Gecko) from LLLReptiles. This lizard was advertised as being healthy and mite free, but WC.

Eric payed $160.00 for said lizard plus $40.00 for shipping.

Eric received said lizard and at some point noticed that the lizard had Red Mites. (I have not seen if this was within the time period or not, as we have not seen any confirmation of records proving the time period).

Eric treats lizard for mites, lizard dies whether from treatment or mites, it is unknown.

Eric contacts LLLReptiles again, informing them of dead reptile, an agreement is made for 50% of the cost of the REPTILE, no refund on % of shipping, to be issued in STORE credit.

Now, regardless of what killed the lizard, how long it was until LLLReptiles was contacted, or what Eric decided to purchase with his store credit, the fact remains...it was store credit.

Now, to the customer (Eric), here is how business works. You had $80.00 in store credit. YOu could have spent $40.00 of that on X, and had $40.oo credit to cover shipping, you could have spent $80.00 on X and had to cover shipping yourself. All in all, you have $80.00 credit on the FINAL TOTAL of your order (not including any sales tax that may be applied). All in all, you got a fair deal and LLLReptiles did not "stiff" you on credit. You agreed to $80.00 TOTAL of credit, not $80.00 plus free shipping. And, yes, I have had store credit before at other stores, both online and offline, and that is how it works.

Now, you have refused the store credit, and have, throughout this thread, consistently acted childish in name calling and mud slinging. Scott, from LLCReptiles, has been extremely professional in admitting that there could have been a problem with DORMANT mite eggs on the reptile that was sent, offering you STORE credit, that you took without hesitation, and (now that you have asked for the store credit to be removed), has offered you a full refund of purchase price plus shipping if you can prove a timeline that both you and he disagree on. You have consistantly told us that you cannot get a copy of your phone bill, and that you do not keep copies of your phone bill. Well, I am here to tell you, most adults keep copies of their bills for 1-3 years, in case of something (i.e. this situation) happening. You also stated that it takes a subpoena to get your phone records and to call your phone company to verify this.

Well, guess what. I called your phone company. All you have to do, is go to the office, with your picture ID, last four of your SSN#, and your account number (if you have it), and they will give you a print out of your phone bill, that lists the LONG DISTANCE phone calls that you have made. Oh, and guess what, it will not cost you ANYTHING. I specifically asked them if it would cost anything...nope, nothing.

This leads me to conclude a few things:

1. Eric is just trying to get something for nothing..example: the temper tantrum over the shipping, not getting the proof that he needs.

and

2. LLLReptiles is a professional business with normal business hiccups. They also try to do the best in their ability to make their customers happy, WITHIN REASON. As long as their TOS are followed and they are approached in a professional manner, then they go above and beyond the call of duty to make their customers happy.

In conclusion, I WILL consider purchasing from LLLReptiles for both live animals and supplies.

You just summed up this WHOLE entire thread in a very professional way, well done. I would buy from LLLReptile anytime. They WILL take care of you. I once had a blood pythin arrive and died a few hours afterwards, they required NO evidence of this, they simply said, what can we do to make it right. Well, they had no other bloods so I agreed on a ball python, came with no problems. Good luck on your purchase. LLLReptile is a GOOD GUY in my opinion.

I cannot disagree here, even though I do not care for LLL, I will stand with them on this. Eric, the ball is in your court.
