• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Long Island is hardly northern NY, or remotely close to Potsdam.

I knew of a couple people in the Saranac, Plattsburgh area; but, honestly, I don't know if they're still breeding. Unfortunately, the easy option (Canada) presents a problem because of CITES requirements (assuming you want to purchase)
 
Yes, I am looking for someone some what local so I can hand pick and see first hand these snakes I'm interested in. Canada is extremely close, but, I am unable to cross the border :D I know of one other towards Watertown, NY... but, this person is beyond cocky and not someone I wish to deal with, personally.

Also, seeking local since winter is fast approaching and shipping will obviously be a problem with 20-30 below with wind-chills and the occasional 2-3 foot of snow. Man, how I wish I still lived in South Florida haha
