I picked this subadult male up at the reptile pet shop because he looked cool and pitiful at the same time. Dark color and no eyes on the alien heads. Kinda thought he might have something going on, but really just wanted to save him. He was more skinny than any Ball I've seen when we got him. Few months in quarantine now and he's putting on weigh and pounding medium F/T rats at least one a week. You guys think he's just a cool normal? My partner in crime thinks he might be het for pied, but I don't know about that. Figured I'd ask the experts.

Tried to get lots of pics. These are pretty indicative of his real color. Lighting was pretty good for them.

Well hell, most forums now days resize them automatically. I resized them in photobucket so let's see how long it takes for the to update. It's been acting dumber than me lately.
 
looks like it could be het for something. has nice tire tracks. other than that its a nice normal...
 
I think he's awesome. Can't wait until he gets fat. He's gonna be a pet for sure. He's got a pretty good personality he just hasn't been handled much.

Would you breed an adult het pied female or adult pied female to an unknown pos het male when you can buy proven breeder adult male het pieds for $200? or less...

Male pos hets are generally pets
 
Another thing that I like about him is his tongue. It's very dark red/maroon fading to black to the tips. It's pretty cool.
