    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I have a pair of Dumeril boas they about 4 years old and and around 6' long. I am a newby when it comes to breeding snakes and I want to be ahead of the game. Where is a good place for me to start learning? Book, web address, etc...? Any info would be appreciated. :eek3:
 
You're currently on one of the best resources you can find. Just ask your questions here and I'm sure a number of people will give you advice. I've bred Dumerils ( and many other Boas ssp) for several years) and will be happy to help you.

As far as a book, the best, in my opinion, for good general information is The Boa Constrictor Manual by Philip de Vosjoli. This is available in most pet store thats carry books, or online.
 
I agree with Mike..just ask and you will get answers.. Just for a refrence (and some awsome animals) you might get check out the Boa DVD from VPI.com.. Awsome stuff...
