• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I'm interested in getting a Cay Caulker, but before I do I want to learn more about this boa and, since net surfing doesn't seem to be a big help at all, I was hoping someone here could help me out! :)

If you know about a site about taking care of these little guys or have your own personal knowledge you'd like to share it would be very much appreciated since I really have no idea how to care for them yet.

Yep, and Cay Caulkers pretty much have the same care requirements as common Columbian boas (bci) since they are the same species. Only major difference is that Cay Caulkers will stay smaller and so don't need as large of a cage as an adult. Temperatures, humidity etc should be the same. Hope this helps!

OOH!

Currently i have one of these guys and she is WONDERFUL, they are really easy to keep. Heat and Humidity are pretty basic, and generally can be kept in the same ranges as a bunch of other commonly kept snakes.
on one of those websites it states these guys seem to do really well on a slower feeding schedule, i usually stick to once every 7-10 days depending on when i get to the store. Not a problem for her :)

Personally, i think they are great snakes, and definitely something i would consider faster than ball python as a first choice for anyone who's looking.
Since i only have this girl, i can only state my opinion based off of what i have learned in the time i have had her, one thing..she is not nippy. Sometimes a little hissy now and then, but once shes out of her Tub shes fine.she really eats very well for me and she sheds perfectly EVERY time. *has a couple saved sheds from her somewhere*

Wow Alicia, your's is so pretty! It makes me want to get one even more. :D Thanks for all the help guys and thanks Rick. I'm thinking about making my own cage, so now I'm looking at others' cages so I can get a feel for what I want. I think i got all the care info I need though! Thanks again. :)
