• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Looking to do a deal with Christopher Amico. Does anyone know him? Has anyone bought from him? Thanks in advance
John Firneno

Hello, hello is there anybody in there?... This guy must be obscure or else everyone here must be on vacation. If no one has heard of him, could you recommend a way of checking on his bona fides?
Thanks
John Firneno

yeah

i did a trade w/christopher all went good, though he did use usps for the shipment to me,i would deal w/him again but i would make sure he did not ship usps as it is illegal hope this helps ,,,,, thomas davis T&S reptile farm;)

Appreciate the feedback

Thanks Thomas Davis,

Had you gotten any feedback about him from someone else ahead of time? Or did you just link up through an ad. I'm a little hesitant to work with folks that don't come recommended.

Thanks again
John Firneno

references

It is completely acceptable to ask for references as a potential buyer. Most legitimate businesses/individuals won't hesitate to point you in the direction of other folks who have conducted transactions with them. In a situation where someone is primarily a hobbyist or just starting out, not many people here will have heard of him/her/them- thus get them to provide references.

re:legality of USPS mentined above

Not sure what herps were sent via USPS,but only snakes and turtles/tortoises are illegal. You can ship Lizards, Amphibians and Crocs with USPS LEGALLY. Just to clarify.
