Anyone know this guy? Has only given a name of Ronald, says he's located in Philly, email address is [email protected]. What I'm finding odd is that he's looking to trade some of his breeders for my common boas....but here are his breeders:


Pythons:
1.Scrub Python
2.Two Breeding Boelen Pythons
3.Three Breeding Diamond Pythons
4.Two Breeding Angolan Python
5.Two Breeding Timor Python

Kind of high end for a pair of common boas.

I've struck out trying to get more information about him or the snakes, so it's not looking good. Just wanting to know if anyone has heard of him.

Not Sure Here Either....

This Guy has approched me and wants to trade the pair of Angolin Pythons for my 8 foot Albino Green Burm. I have spoken with him. There is just an odd feeling about this. He says he is willing to meet a friend of mine and do this trade but I am still unsure. He is also Advertising Komodo Dragons so this is just plain strange. If anyone know ANYTHING about this guy please contact me also!!!

I am sorry once again I forgot to post my name. I am Robert Raasch. I don't know his name or anything. He does use aol IM you can just use the first of his e-mail addy. I got some pics of the Angolins are they look really professional and the female is on eggs. He says these pics where taken last week and the eggs are in the incubator. I am very scytpical about him wanting to trade these high dollar snakes for my $400 Albino Green Burm, But we says he would be willing to do this trade in person with a friend of mine in Philly. Guys.... I just DON'T understand your problem??? Why are you so worried?? If this guy HAS what he SAYS he has for trade.... Tell him.... SHIP ME THE SNAKES! IF I LIKE THEM, I'LL SHIP OUT MINE! What the heck is so tough about that??
I don't care who the person is, what his reputation is, or if he has scammed 10,000 people already.... if HE SHIPS FIRST.... NOBODY WILL HAVE A PROBLEM??? Haven't you guys figured that out yet??

I know exactly what you are saying Neil and agree completely!!! He will NOT ship first and my posts are more to warn people then anything else. The most funny thing here is he is advertising KOMODO DRAGONS and they are very illegal to posses. I just want people to know the full story and be careful if they deal with this guy so they don't get ripped off.

Ronald is back by popular demand. I always give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they are just bored and want to play "snake monopoly" on the web. But when they offer a trade and ask you to ship them snakes first, IMHO they have crossed the line. I played his game along just to see how far he was willing to go (and he did go all the way). He offered to trade one of my ball pythons for a pair of boelen and a pair of angolans! In bold are my replies to his e-mails.

Be a shame to see your posts all get deleted because of a lack of a name. I don't normally jump all over people for it but you've got quite a few posts on this message board system and you really should know by now...

I'm not sure if it's too late or not to save all those threads on the first page but perhaps this one can be salvaged...

It helps to take a minute or three and set up a signature, then you can simply forget about it.

You are absolutely right. We sometimes pay too much attention to the form and little to the content. On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with trying to improve our writing skills. Right?

I have been in contact with this guy for about 2 weeks now. He sends the EXACT same email and list. I live right by Philly and I told him I would be willing to meet him halfway somewhere.

What gets me is he never responds directly to what I am saying. It looks like he has a pretyped message he is sending to everyone. He sent the same email to my brother as well. When I ask him to send pictures, he responds instead with his list again.
