    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey there....does anyone have any pics of, or know where to find pics of a super black pastel? I understand that this is an all black snake...the super form of breeding two black pastels together. Ive also read on this site (in the dirty little secrets of morphs thread) that they have been known to have some facial deformities. Is this why I cant find very much info or pics on the super black pastel...because no one is breeding them?

Any help, experiences, or pics is much appreciated! Thanks guys

Its definitely a deformity. The Eyes seem to bug out, and the nose area towards the eyes is pinched in.

Not ALL of them have this though too... but it is something to consider when breeding them.

There are pictures around.... on various forums and such. You can also look up the Super black pastel pied, and you can see the deformity taking place in that animal as well. BUT! i have seen animals without it, so you might just have to look around for a breeder that is selling one.

I dont believe that it causes any other issues though, its just a cosmetic thing, as far as im aware...

As far as I've been told the Graziani line super cinnamons do not display the "platypus" nose but I can't say for sure whether black pastels do or not (I'm a cinny guy myself lol). But from everything I've heard from people who do own super BPs or Cinnies with the nose "defect" they get along just fine (like Alicia said) eat poop and are happy as any other ball.
