    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am wanting to get a LARGE (female?) adult cornsnake as a first snake. I am looking for a VERY docile, slow moving, doesn't mind being held snake. I don't care about breeding or anything technical like that. We will NEVER breed her.

I just want a sweet, healthy snake for my 5 year old son. My little boy has a rare autoimmune disease so the snake needs to be healthy.

I have approx. $75 to spend for the snake or $200 for everything we'll need (tank, etc). If you can help me please let me know. I am in South Charleston, WV 25303.

Corn Snake

Try Craig's List - someone usually has a complete setup and snake up for sale, pretty reasonable.

Try ebay or garage sales for supplies. I just bought a 20 gal long tank, heat pad, screen lid, hide log, fake plant, and a cricket house for a grand total of $15 at a garage sale.

As for the snake, scan through the ads already posted on here. I was sifting through a couple days ago and saw some people selling corn snake hatchlings for about $20, and adults for $30 - 60 (depending on color).

Does your son know about this snake, or is it a surprise?

I have 2 retired breeder male amels I would be willing to ship out to you for $75 they are both albinos and sweet as ever. Both will take frozen thawed rodents and are in perfect health as well! If your interested let me know and I will send you pics via email.

Thanks

have a 5' male ghost corn totally laid back. Easy to handle and has never been with another snake(except for when he was a hatchling of course). Not a female I know but gender doesn't necessarily make a temperment diff. Not sure if that's why you want it to be female or not. Anywho. I live in woodbridge virginia and if your willing to travel I will sell him to you for $100. That also includes his 40gal breeder tank (its designed to rest on its side not upright). If you are interested or have other questions then please fell free to ask. Can also send you a pic if interested. Thanks,sonny
