    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi everyone I've been in search of a curtain Tarantula called Poecilotheria metallica in layman's term a Indian sapphire ornamental, commonly referred as the "Gooty" or "Peacock Tarantula". I've looked up a few respectable places online and well because of the cold weather I'd be too nervous to spend all that money and end up with a DOA (dead or arrival), I know some places guarantee alive arrivals but with too many variables in the shipping contract, UPS or FedEx could be delayed for any reason and my guarantee would be voided. . .
Also I'm looking for a FEMALE only and most places can't confirm the sex because they sell them so young. . . I'd like a sub adult female with at least 1 inch leg span. Does any Tarantula breeders live in the Massachusetts, New England area? It'd be awesome if I could just go pick it up safely rather then dealing with the shipping bull crap. Please help a girl out. . . :shrug01::shrug01::
Below is a small list of the Tarantulas I'm locally looking for, note I'm looking for all Females with at least a 1 inch leg span.
Thanks so much,
Brandi

Poecilotheria metallica (Sapphire Ornamental\Gooty)
Poecilotheria ornata (Fringed Ornamental)
Psalmopoeus irminia) (Venezuelan Suntiger)
Psalmopoeus cambridgei (Trinidad Cheveron)
Tapinauchenius violaceus (Purple Tree Spider)

I have a few Tapinauchenius violaceus (Purple Tree Spider) slings, but I'm from the hudson valley of NY. i can ship when we have a little bit warmer weather. this upcoming week looks good, and the box will have a 40 hour heat pack

Just hit up a reptile show. I went to the one in Manchester, NH a couple of weeks ago and saw females for many of the species you mentioned. There's another one in March in Manchester. There is also one in Brockton, MA generally around that time as well as several in NY.
