I'm being honest about where I'm at, asking questions, and trying to improve. If that’s not enough for you, that’s fine — but I'm not here to impress you. Ive had ace and dottie for 3 months 13 days been working with them over 100 hours already they are 1 male crotalus atrox and 1 agkistrodon contortrix. and I feel quite confident with them I finally stopped shaking over them btw!!! still shake with my retics tho lol

I understand your frustration — space in this community matters, and so does how it’s used. But strength isn't in gatekeeping, it’s in guidance. I don’t speak to prove myself — I move with intention, and I learn from those willing to speak with purpose. If you truly care about where this hobby’s headed, then lead by example. Tell me what you would’ve wanted someone to tell you when you started. I’m not here to waste time — mine or yours. I’m here to grow.

At the end of the day, even if I lost the lancehead, I’m still going to be getting a baby Gaboon or another lancehead within the month. I’ve got solid sources — I’m not out here scrambling. I just want to expand and keep learning. I'm always open to guidance from those who’ve walked the path — but there’s no room for hate. We grow stronger as a community when knowledge is shared, not withheld.

I’m going to keep posting and asking until I figure this out — that’s how progress works. I’m not doing this out of ignorance, I’m doing it out of drive.

But that’s like saying you shouldn’t own hots yourself period.. imo that would be a incompetent statement gotta start somewhere I can agree he’s going about it the complete wrong way but once again gotta start somewhere. I remember approx 4-5 years ago I was getting the same response he’s getting “stupid kid” now I’ve produced,owned,and sold more then half if not more then a majority of you will ever keep in you’re life

You’re entitled to your opinion, but you don’t know me — only the version you’ve assumed. I’m not trying to be anyone’s clone, and I’m not here to repeat someone else’s mistakes. I know what I’m getting into, and I’m not asking for handouts — not AV, not respect. I’ll earn what I need and take the steps necessary to do this right. You don’t have to like me, or even believe in me — but I’ll keep moving forward regardless.

It’s not about “starting somewhere”… people have said time and time again that wanting to learn is great! I’d love to see the hobby grow. But this kid has no desire to actually LEARN. He just thinks he’s the main character and wants to do whatever he wants. And he’s going to get himself in serious trouble that way. I hear all the advice — trust me, I’m not ignoring it. Sometimes it takes more than just hearing to really understand. I’m sorting through everything and figuring out what works for me. If it feels like I’m a brick wall, maybe that’s just me building the foundation before I break through. I’m here to learn, but on my terms, not just by repeating what everyone says.

Unfortunately ladies and gentlemen all we can do is sit back and wait. He will prove us right or wrong. Either he will have his come to Jesus moment, be another fly by nighter and sell off or stick with it. He already has animals and regardless if we all ban together to not sell to him, someone else will. Not everyone uses Fauna, Facebook or other apps for animal sales. Remember people sold Jeff animals even though he free handled.
