My partner Sam called me awhile back and said he had been contacted by a guy who had a few ball pythons and that one of the females had dropped an unexpected clutch. The poor guy had no idea what to do as he kept the BPs simply as pets and asked if I would incubate the clutch for him. There were 7 eggs and when they got here they were terribly shriveled from lack of moisture. My wife set them up and suprisingly 6 of the 7 made it. She just has that magic touch. I should have taken pics, but I thought for sure they were done for. Anyhow, they have now hatched and I couldn't believe that the first baby out immediately brought Het Red to mind (or at least something in that group). I call the guy and ask him to head over with his adults so I can give them a look over. Niether of the adults had anything even remotely outstanding about them. Well here are a couple pics. I'll get a more in the next day or so as they should be shedding close to Monday.
