    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I live in the Colorado Springs area and I'm in need of some help. My black throat monitor is missing and I fear he has found his way out of my house. He is in the three foot range and has a very bad disposition. No scars just a slightly stubbed tail (about an inch missing). Bright white spots on his back and a very dark throat all the time. I hope ya find him and goodluck we need to keep these misshaps from accurring this is what causes problems and banning of these animals find him and secure him they are strong which makes them real exscape artists. I bet he is indeed still in your home under the fridge or behind a dresser or desk. Look not only on the floor behind things but ive seen them behind folded up tables dressers and board against walls half way up wedged between the object and the wall . Again good luck im sure you will find him.

If you do think he's out of your house, keep checking with both animal control units (Pikes Peak Humane and Colorado Humane). File lost reports with both of them. Pikes Peak will put it on their web site if it comes in... Colorado Humane doesn't have their web site set up to list their animals yet.

I regularly get calls from both agencies if they are not set up to handle a specific reptile - so I'll give you a buzz if I hear anything.

Also - feel free to give me a call if you want a hand looking for him.

strange as this may seem check up high in your closets. i had mine escape twice and both times we found him in the exacte same place. on the top shelve in our closet. he climbed up our clothes and got up there. i thought they were not supposed to be climbers but he is. so good luck and look high and low
