    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

so i bought a timor monitor and on the way home my friend thought it would b a good idea to take him out and hold him...he is now lost somewhere under my cars dashboard. i have spent hours for the past 2 days looking for him. i have removed peices of the dash but couldnt find him. i put out water, food and heat but he never came out. i tride over heating and over cooling the car to get him out but i cant get him. my girlfriend suggested trying to smoke him out, is this a good idea?? i really dont want to completly remove everything in my car so if anyone has any ideas i would greatly appreciate it.

I lost a Ball Python in my car and did everything i could to get him back. Nothing worked, he ended up coming out a month later while i was driving. Also lost a Mangrove Monitor and nothing got him out either. I found him when he started stinking. :(

really? wow my ball python has gotten out a few times but i always just put out a heater and he was under it the next day. dont consider me a bad owner for that, i was alot younger(14) and didnt realize how strong they were. i almost bought a mangrove monitor but i got this guy instead, bad choice apparently. i know they are used to dry conditions so how long do you think he can live in there without water?

Why? Your friend would have just lost the mangrove in your car...what's the difference? :shrug01:

well the mangrove was about 4 times bigger and couldnt squeeze into the little places in the car and dash, he was also extremely calm so he might not have ran off. any ideas tho?

Glue boards work

well. I have used these as a last resort. Once the lizard is stuck to the board, pour cooking oil on the stuck portions of the lizard and it will release from the board.
