    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm wondering with all the lucy (bel) combos out there has anyone ever hatched a lucy from a lucy x normal pairing. I know you don't get say a super pastel from a super pastel x normal breeding (at least I think not). But what I'm thinking is if I have a mojo x lesser lucy what are the chances and I'm not talking odds but can both those genes land on 1 animal again. What if you hit on say a 3 gene lucy (Hard to say if this may have happened since it's going to be white but) butter lesser mojo in one. One would think that 2 of those genes could land on a animal in a breeding or are the really that close genetically speaking that it won't happen. Even typing this my head is spinning.

Mojo/lesser Lucy X normal = 50% mojo and 50% lesser

No normals and no lucy's, it acts like a super, not the combo it really is, because they are on the same allele.
Same applies to mystics and superstripes

That was kind of my thinking and I guess even if you breed say super mojo x butter lesser lucy you just get either butter russo or lesser mojo lucy or some combination. Dang my head hurts...

The only way i could image this "3" gene lucy would be a butter/lesser x butter/mojo, or something of the sort. But even then, since they all lay on the same allele... who knows? I'm unsure if it has been tried. I imagine someone would be boasting if something crazy happened! Kind of like the striated ball from Mike Wilbanks. But as far as I know, this is his first season breeding him.

I'm interested in what others think?

even with butter/lesser x butter/mojo you can't get a 3 gene because they are allelic. You would get butter/butter lucys, butter/mojo lucys, butter/lesser, and mojo/lesser lucys. You would get 100% lucys from the clutch but none would be 3 gene.
