Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Luis Taracena (HerpHobbiest) - Altered Images of Boas

Luis is active on another forum posting pictures and misinformation on his animals again.

He is also posting pictures of other people without giving them credit.

So I feel a bump is necessary least anyone stumble across him and fall for his crap.
 
I'll concur what Diem says. He recently posted a picture of my Aurora (RIP) in ovulation end of '05, as well as another pic that's not his.
 
I would also like to add that Luis has still refused to address those photos and has since removed them from his online photo album.

Pretty much, as far as Luis is concerned, none of this ever happened.

The only reason this is not a Bad Guy Thread is because Luis and I never had a transaction, but I hope that anyone reading this can determine for themselves that Luis is not someone who has good intentions for this hobby.

Funny thing is, it took me about two days to put all this together, but you are welcome all the same.

I saw something that did not look right and investigated it. These days, the obsession to share every aspect of your life online makes it all too easy.

Are you :censored: kidding me? That took some stones. If you're going to be stupid enough to steal photos, it's probably best to NOT pick one of the most recognizable snakes in Fauna history. I still get bummed everytime Aurora is mentioned and she wasn't even mine!!!
 
He didn't say that it was his snake, just to clarify that. What he did was post a picture with the comment of a huge ovulation, but without letting people know it wasn't his snake. Basically letting them who don't know better, come to their own conclusion.

Fortunately for me, some people DID know better, and let me know fairly quickly.
 
He did the same thing with one of Tom's big BCCs. No, he never claimed them, but in the context he was using them, it was implied. He was trying to flex his muscles around other people to let them know just how experienced and amazing he was compared to them.
