In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey Chuck.......I know who you are. You're that guy at the zoo who keeps poking the gorillas with a stick and wonders why they ripped your arms off.

Another country heard from.

What are your John's manicurist?

Why don't you stop now and go trade recipes with Martino. Its for your best, trust me.

couldnt she have taken the snake to a vet, dropped it off w/ all of the scumbags (IMO) contact information then contacted said scumbag (again, IMO) providing him w/ the vet information in regards TO HIS snake, leaving it up to him to either pay the vet for the care and shipping back to him of the snake or forfieting it to the vet to do whatever they would do w/ an abandoned snake, or any other arraingments he might be able to work out?

im still very new to the boi, and this whole hobby/business, just getting my first balls back in apr, but it really is very very sad to see so much of the dispicable conduct that takes place year after year by alot of the same scumbags (people?) w/ seemingly no remorse. i gotta say, when i decided to go ahead and get a snake, then did a little more reading and thought let me get a couple and try my hand at breeding, maybe supporting my new found hobby and give me a few extra bucks in my pocket and life would be good. now? now i just grow more and more leary of the people i read about and may potentially deal w/ in the future. both sellers and buyers. i had no clue as to this site when i made my first purchase of 2 pastels and a normal, and guess i just got lucky picking RCReptiles to make that purchase, and not going to the likes of ks where so many of these types seem to florish. my 2d purchase (BIG SHOUT OUT TO WWW.FORTHELOVEOFREPTILES.COM )was done w/ the assistance of the boi last month and i would never consider making another purchase w/o first coming here. actually i probably wouldnt ever buy again from someone who wasnt on here if i havent already.

She didn't see a vet. She obviously goofed there. That has been established.

Lemme tell you something about Luis though since he's the subject. You guys keep pointing out HER faults, is going to JUSTIFY in HIS mind, that he is still not wrong.

Ed, you just get to see the gritty side of the business here. The "wolf pack" regularly chases them down and feeds on their innards. But it's only because they run. No run, no chase so they bring it upon themselves, this becoming fodder for the canines.

There are a LOT of really good people in this industry too. Don't let a few dumbasses make you think we're all that way.

And people love a wreck. Good guy or bad, they slow down to see the blood, and there is blood here in abundance.

Look around and you'll see a great deal of camaraderie and helpful folks. It's just not always out in the open.

Hit submit too quick.

It's illegal in some states to drop off animals at a Vet's office. Why should the Vet be liable for expenses and time to take care of a snake that looie should NEVER have shipped?

No, this is 100% looie's fault for being the dumbass theif he is.

It's a shame Az. is so far away. Dennis owes me a beer and I'd sure like to meet ol looie in person.

Oh well, maybe someday.

I honestly have not read the ENTIRE Thread,

BUT, I can say I contacted Luis reguarding a trade a few years ago, and got the red flag feeling when I talked to him. He was very evasive, and wanted to talk about himself and his projects more than the trade we were looking at doing. I also told him that the trade would be done in person, since I live in San Diego, I would drive to meet him. It SEEMED like the trade talks pretty much ceased right after I mentioned where I live, and would like to do the trade in person...

It seems like if someone sends you money in good faith, and you have to wait a week or so to ship, you DO NOT spend their money until you have shipped the snake, and they are totally stoked with their purchase. It also seems like maybe, just maybe, a snake with suspect health might have been sold to pay some bills, and only for that reason.

I thought you were buying the first round?..lol Either way, I have a beer waiting for you here, it's not that far, just a couple of hours.

Luis, You still stumping for all the free rescues you can get? I remeber a couple of years back everyone on the AHA forum getting real irritated at you for all the posts asking for or offering to take all the rescues you could get your hands on. Was this snake a free one you flipped?

Holy smokes! I never considered it was something as simple as her goofing up?

You see that Wes? Maybe it isn't all about business and cutting losses and it was just her goof.

Wow!

Hey maybe the snake secretly smoked and developed emphysema and its no fault of anyone it died.

Glad you noticed! That is the sister to the Animal I sent to Debbie.

It must be a miracle that both animals were maintain under identical conditions and the sister is alive and well.

Luis.

Not sure about the TOS itself, but the pic of the salmon was taken 09/09/07 at 07:13pm according to the EXIF data.

Debbie requested her money back. I told her to read my TOS "No Cash Refunds". I offer her a credit good towards any other animal available.

She reply "No, it's OK. Go ahead and send her!!!"

Therefore, I send the snake as agreed.

Besides, Debbie wants a credit because according to her, I send her a sick animal. However, there is no proof the snake was ever sick.

When she told me the snake was sick, I immediately offered to take the sick snake back and issue her a credit. Debbie choose to keep the snake.

If the snake died because Debbie choose not to seek Veterinary care. Well that was her prerogative.

Luis.

Luis Taracena's TOS said:
All animals are guaranteed to be healthy, feeding and properly sexed. Payment is required in advance by check, money order, wire transfer or credit card. If you are not satisfied I will credit your purchase minus the cost of freight if notified within 24 hours of receipt. No cash refunds!

I'd say that notifying you within 24 hrs was accomplished, since she notified you BEFORE you shipped, that she didn't want it. As per YOUR OWN TOS, you owe her.

Luis, you spent her money before shipping the snake. You are 100% wrong in this ordeal on many counts. You need to make this right Mr. Clark. Dodging things does not make them go away.

That's funny Luis. You claim I sent you a sick snake. You gave me no proof and didn't take the animal to the vet, but you still thought I did you wrong. The table is turned and now your position is different. What are the odds? You're nothing but a con artist (a poor one at that) and you owe Debbie her money back.

Matt Crabe

Luis do you have a small photo of yourself?? If so cut your face out of the picture.. Find some paper glue or a piece of tape. After you get that together find a dictionary and go to the T's now slowly flip the pages till you find the word Thief ! now read what it says and when your done reading take the photo of yourself and stick it right beside the definition of Thief. Now when you look up the word Thief you'll find your picture.

Luis you refund when someone actually receives something from you or in your case if you had sent the animal and THEN she wanted a refund you could have referred her to your TOS. Now read this slowly so maybe you'll understand-- Until someone receives a product from you the refund part of your TOS means nothing, nauta, nill... She asked for the refund before you shipped her product so at that time you should have sent her HER MONEY. What transpired after she asked for a refund doesn't matter we all know she asked for it before you shipped. So stop with the BS and take care of this ! you looked bad before this thread and look even worse now. What is it going to take for you to realise that your screwing yourself with your business tactics?? You are to blame you and only you.. Fix this problem and get your chit together or there will come a day when you'll have a hard time giving animals away...Randy

Hey Randy, let's not forget that when Debbie made the mistake of sending him money, his TOS was non-existant. It was NOT on his site at that time. There was NO PLACE she could possibly have seen it.

looie, you OWE her 1150.00 for the sick snake you sent her AFTER she told you NOT to ship.

Pay the lady.

Wes, that's a given, he tries to use his recent TOS to deign her. Even if his TOS had been there when she bought from him it wouldn't make a difference... Randy

Isn't it just too funny how these things come back and bite you in the rear.

Like your own TOS state Luis, you owe her. It ain't going away, it's just gonna get worse.

Just thought the OP may want to know what the person who ripped her off looks like. Here ya go.

no worries there wes. like you said, i am reading the nasty stuff and i guess it just really opened my eyes. but in these threads full of these scumbags i see lots of really good people, all helping to put pieces of the puzzle together to show these people for what they really are. i must say some of the things you guys are able to dig up (the damon/brian/tawni's husband threads come to mind) are amazing.

i didnt realize it may be illegal to drop off sick animals at the vet, but i wasnt saying the vet should have to pay anything. that would all be on loogie. she could have told loogie the snake she did NOT want and asked NOT be sent was also sick and now at a vet who was awaiting a call from loogie for instructions as to what care he would like provided.

i fully feel loogie owes her a full refund, and NEVER should have sent out the sick snake. i just still find it rather difficult to believe that not just a snake, but a snake that was worth over $1g (correct me if im wrong) was pretty much left to die. i find that amazing.

maybe thats just my newness in all this shining thru again though. :)
