    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am new to Hog Nose ownership and will receive my Madagascar Speckled tomorrow.
I can find very little information about Leio's. Do any of you know much about them. Diet is similar but temperature, humidity, lighting, housing information is really thin. Maybe it is all the same but my girl is coming to me at almost 48" which is more than a tad larger than a Western Hog Nose.

Your advice will be very much appreciated.
 
I had a friend that had one and treated it just like a king snake. He had it in a breeding rack and it was over 20 years old he had it all that long also. I know they are one of the largest hogs and very beautiful. My boyfriend owns a eastern hog adult in our exhibit. We treat it like a kingsnake other than Easterns have to eat toads lol. Just treat her like a large western I would say. Hope this helps :)
