Well this has got me baffled. Where did that original quote from Marcia come from? I can't find it anywhere in a post on this site.
What this refers to is a private communication between Chris and I concerning "appearances". Marcia, how did you come about getting this private communication and why bring it up when we are trying to get this crap settled down? Who was it in another thread related to this crap that was aghast at another person possibly posting a
private message (which was wrongly assumed) and yet someone obviously has been passing around a private message and quite likely the recipients are passing it further along? Where is the indignation over that breach of etiquette, hmmm?

When Chris was banned, I offered to refund his Endowment level membership fee prorated to date. I said nothing at all about his advertising banners. That is shown earlier in this thread and there was no other correspondence to him from me concerning it. Chris requested the refund of his remaining advertising funds, of which that linked banner ad to his site was tied. And I did as he had requested, so his banner ad ended. His account on FaunaAds had not been closed, by my choice, so apparently he chose to restart that banner ad.
Again, why bring this up in a public posting rather then asking myself or Chris privately about it? What would have been the reasonable and prudent way for someone to inquire about this and not get the crap all stirred up again? Getting withdrawal from not having enough drama here most of the day? So tell me, who is stirring the pot now?
Chris and I have been passing cordial emails back and forth recently, trying to resolve this situation. You can come to your own determination as to who this applies to, but
I thank you very much for driving the wedge back into place. Perhaps Chris thanks you too..
in this thread or not (I've been reading so long my coffee is cold!), but here is my opinion if it will help:
too bad the fund has to end due to petty arguments, it was a nice area for people to show their support for fauna and recently to try to help a member by making donations.
And yes I will agree in the past week or so this site has become a GIANT pissing contest.....
