    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Unfortunately my boyfriend's dad passed away from spinal cancer and I found out the cost for the funeral. He never told me the cost, just said he had it covered. I came across the receipt and can't believe the cost and the fact that his father's insurance can't cover all of it. I am now selling all my beloved reptiles so I can give him some help with the money. He has yet to find out because I know he would get upset knowing I did it. He knows I love all my guys and it would kill me to do this. I love my pets, but I love my boyfriend more. Just wish I could stop crying about this. Sorry I just needed to get this off my chest because it's killing me.
 
That really sucks to hear. One of my freind's dad just died recently too. I am sorry you have to go through that. Its good to get it off of your chest and im sure everyone else here will agree. If I can offer any support just PM me.

Thank you Grant. This morning we found an envelope in the mailbox. There was more than enough cash in it to cover the cost of the funeral and then some. No note, nothing. Of course everyone I asked regarding this denies any knowledge. So now I'm happy to say that I can keep my little scaly friends and my boyfriend's father can have the funeral he deserves. God does work in mysterious ways.
 
that is definitely a miracle, and I am so happy that it happened to you and you won't have to get rid of your buddies. I actually do believe you too...my boyfriend and I were going through some rough times of our own once and were really in need of 400 dollars. a week went by and the money became more urgently needed and one day at work my boyfriend simply found 400 dollars in an unexpected place... so miracles do happen
 
Sorry to for your loss. It is really amazing, the things that happens some times. Glad to hear you are not going to have to sell your critters. You guys just keep your chins up and good luck!
