PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

As a guy who lives in a big city, I know that "looks female" doesn't mean much these days.

Same rule applies to tortoises.
 
I had a chance to inspect this animal in person and it definitely looked female to me. But as Ian and Melissa stated, sometimes we get surprised by a different outcome.
 
young male. developing....females tail is usually not so long from cloaca to tip....female that distant is shorter imo and experience....
 
Thats a female the price is stupid. Even if it turns out to be male the low amount of concavity will not make a good breeder that price is redic ive seen much nicer for 300?
 
Since 2005..[ note dates in pics ].. EVERY 7" Brazilian I've had or seen is a male with distinct concave plastron. This one also had a split scute on his carapace. True.. Braziian .carbonaria show their sex morph. at a much smaller size than those carbonaria North of the Amazon.





Also like Michael commented - there are always exceptions and extremes! $900 might be a little pricey for even a female.. especially that small. Time will tell!

BTW.. I was agreeing with Michael Tuma.
