Male bearded dragon available for sale on Long Island, NY. Pickup only.
Male 5-month-old juvenile Hypo Leatherback Genetic Stripe bearded dragon purchased from Major League Exotic Pets in New Jersey who sold him as a baby to us at a reptile show in October 2024 here on Long Island, NY. Only good as a viewing pet. He will eat from a bowl in your hand but does not want to be touched at all and will run away frantically if you try. If you continue to reach for him he will repeatedly bite you. If/when you're able to grab him, he will eventually close his mouth after 2 minutes and trust you. He is very defensive, not aggressive. He also wants to be fed insects constantly (but of course you shouldn't) and eats them aggressively.
He has all toes and tail tip.
His basking spot's temperature is 105 degrees (just as it is in Australia) as verified with our temperature gun.
His basking spot's UVB is 125 μW/cm2 (which it should be for bearded dragons) as verified with our UVB meter that measures in μW/cm2.
Eating the best greens daily: Organic Dandelion, Collard, Turnip, and Mustard greens, and Escarole. Shaved Butternut Squash is always mixed in and is his favorite. All are dusted with calcium powder daily.
Eating 4 medium dubia roaches every 2 days. They are dusted with calcium powder daily and a multivitamin powder weekly.
Will include the following BRAND NEW items for FREE:
- 3) 12" 8-watt 10.0 UVB strip light fixtures that comes with 3) UVB fluorescent tube bulbs
- 4) additional 12" 10 0 UVB bulbs
- 1) 18" 15-watt 10.0 UVB strip light fixture that comes with 1) UVB fluorescent tube bulb
