*Updated post! Discounted from previous post & includes crested gecko with enclosure. Please email inquiries to [email protected] for a quicker response. Please respond with some basic information about your reptile experience/qualifications to care for exotic lizards or I may not reply. Apologies if I did not respond to your previous inquiries on this forum, I did not realize my inbox was full.*
**Must be able to pick up in zip code 21794 (West Friendship, Maryland), I will not ship due to covid-19 and I cannot deliver. Prices are therefore negotiable.**
***Previously-committed buyer fell through due to scheduling/transportation issues. So I have decreased my asking price to promote a sale as I am on a timeline to sell by the end of June at the latest. Price was $200 for Jeweled Lacerta and $150 for lightly-used 4’x2’x2’ DIYcage, now is $300 for both, including extras such as exo-terra hides, water dishes, heat and uvb lighting fixtures, decor, and more! This is a significant value but I am motivated to sell by the end of June! I am also now selling my crested gecko with complete enclosure, for $150, negotiable***
Details:
I have for your consideration one adult male jeweled lacerta (Timon lepidus). He is a vibrant blue/green, quality bred, and a pleasure to own, but I am looking to sell him because I got a new job that has me out of the house more often than not, and my boyfriend is not interested in reptiles. As a working college student I am seldom home to enjoy them, and I want them to go to someone with several years of reptile experience who is at a point in their life where they can reliably afford/care for a collection.
To reiterate, proof of a good home is a must and is a prerequisite for purchase. Specifics on each lizard are provided below:
Species: Jeweled Lacerta
Color: Normal
Age: About 2 years old
Origin: Purchased directly from Snakes at Sunset, which is a fantastic store in Florida. This lizard is really something with extremely bright blues. To be honest, he is the hardest for me to sell because he is such a stunner. But I hope he goes to a new home that will appreciate him.
Gender: Male
Diet: Eats dubia roaches primarily with occasional supplements of mealworms, superworms, tomato worms, crickets, and fruit (particularly diced strawberries).
Price: $150, negotiable with proof of truly exceptional home. Bundled with DIYcage for $300.
Additional information: This guy is super cool. He does not like to be handled but he is also not aggressive. Will not bite you unless he’s mistaken you for food. Will occasionally hiss if he’s grumpy and you’ve woken him up, but otherwise will come up to the glass to greet you and beg for food. I’ve picked him up gently before to remove him from his cage for cleaning and he tolerates it, but does not particularly enjoy it, so he is happiest as a pet to enjoy from a distance. However, his vibrant colors and patterning makes him very fun to watch. He’s an interesting character, and he’s always excited to eat. Visibly healthy, enjoys soaking in his water tub, also likes to dig. Never had a bad shed, all toes present, no deformities.
Species: Crested Gecko
Color: Unsure
Age: ~1 year
Origin: Reptile Expo
Gender: Not identified
Diet: Pangea crested gecko diet. Will also eat small (¼ inch) dubia roaches or small meal/superworms as a treat.
Additional information: Yoshi is a crested gecko I acquired from a reptile expo about a year ago. He is small, and acclimated to handling. He still has his tail, sheds well and has no deformities. He comes with a complete enclosure which includes a deep substrate with false bottom to encourage humidity. The enclosure is a zoo med paludarium. I still have the filter and paludarium ledge which I will include in case you wish to repurpose the tank later. The only damage is a small hole in the mesh which I created to allow my MistKing nozzle to fit.
Supplies:
All supplies gently-used for less than one year. Free/cheap with purchase of lizard. First come/first serve for supplies. These are good quality items but I have no use or storage for them, so I am letting them go with each lizard as additional incentive!
List of available supplies:
4x2x2 DIYcage (bundled with lacerta, includes pre-installed heat mat on side, 2 heat/light bulb outlets on warm side, and one 3’ sunblaster uvb lamp. Also includes decor.)
(Substrate has been removed from the DIYcage to make it less heavy for transport. Some of the decor pictured was previously sold).
Zoomed paludarium (set up for crested gecko, includes decor, hanging coconut hide, feeding ledge and 2 glass feeding dishes)
Exo terra terrarium light (included with gecko)
40 gallon sliding-top terrarium with 2D desert background
Exo terra hides
Exo terra water dishes
