    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Male or female

But they don't seem to have the subtympanic shield on the lower jaw like the pic of his iguana does. I admit it has been awhile since I have paid much attention to iguanas and never owned other than a green.

I was looking at the pics of the green iguana you had pictured. That is definitely a rock. But the femoral pores you showed were of the green iguana????

now i also posted on another website (herpcenter.com) "Well, to me it looks femalish....the pores are small...you didnt include a side shot of the tail....to check for the hemipenal bulge, and her head is streamlined...tho she does have some orange colors to her (I had a female who colored up orange every breeding season sooo) I would lean towards female, tho dont quote me...the tell tale sign is the laying of eggs LOL....Good luck....she is very pretty....."

no i have a green rock iguana yes they were the pores of a green iguana would shots from the side of the tail help

Why would you show pores of a green iguana when you are asking to sex the rock iguana????? You got us looking at 2 different animals.

Here is a better shot of the Ctenosaura Pectinata, you can see it better. The one you have is a rock for sure!! Sorry about the first thought, but by that one pic it looked a lot like Ctenosaura Pectinata.

I do not see where a side shot would help on the green. If it is over two years old it is a girl 100%. As for the rock, it is a Rock iguana 100%. The first pic I seen, at the angle it was in looked like a Ctenosaura Pectinata, but I was wrong. After seeing the new pictures, it is clearly a rock.

Ok, I must have missed the switch. I was wondering how the heck that you guys thought that green was a rock. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :raspberry

i would not say over 2 years unfortunally he was a rescue from a young age i would say 2 years or younger

I would still tend to think it is a female. I might be wrong, but that is my thoughts.
