    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi there.

I have two Mali uros. One male and one female. I got the female a few months ago, and she has been perfect, she is active, and healthy, but she is kinda skinny and saggy. Is this normal? or does she need to be fattened up?I'm not planning on breeding now, but I want her to be healthy. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of her to share. My old computer crashed, and all of the pictures of them were on there. Thank you! :)

my best advice, it depends on how long you have had your male. Most all species of uromastyx can be very territorial, especially to new room mates. If your male is defeinatly older, its not gonna work, you need to seperate them so the female doesn't feel stressed to eat.. You need to get them at the same time where they have time to grow up together and even then, their is a chance of territorial behavior

There is no show of any territorial behavior. They are fed on different levels of the house, and they are always together. The male will show her that he is always first or whatever, but he never hurts her, and she still eats. I have heard differently about what you said. I specifically got the female so the male had someone to be with, and asked around to different sites and breeders, and they told me how to introduce them together and everything I needed to know, never any of that.
