He reminds me so much of a Green Burmese Python.

What do you think?

I'm torn right now...that means that the more I see it, the more I'll love it (I have issues with change).
What did you breed to get it? Please don't tell me a 'special female!' (that's just not fair...)

LOL, Thanks!

He was a captive hatched that I got some years back. I'm uncertain of it's genetics but I'm leaning towards it be recessive if it's anything like a Green Burmese. I have a clutch incubating now due to hatch later in July.

Have you gotten normal looking "Hets" from it already, or are these the first eggs? I like the look.

Yeah, like I said, the more I see it...I am definitely anxious to see what comes out of the eggs from him!
What was he bred to?

Beautiful ball...you've gotta post pics of the babies when they hatch!!

Wow. I think we need to start a "have they hatched yet?" daily mantra.

With the green Burmese pythons you sometimes get the hets where the blotches are small and the space between is big. I forget what they call that, "leopard"? So I'm wondering if the green Burmese is more of a pattern morph where the pattern is reduced to nothing. This one seems to have a moderately normal pattern under that cool malting.

Best of luck and let us know what the babies look like please!
