    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yes, I noticed it as well. What is really interesting to me is that "Black Eyed P", the solid black eye male I have here that belongs to Marcia, has the same sort of spotting. He is more hypoed out so it doesn't show as much, but it's there.

If you look at the solid black eyed leo on Steve Syke's "Very Cool Geckos" page on his website, it has a similar pattern. Some of Tremper's "Eclipse's" have the same thing going on. Hmmmm.

Hey guys, Thanks for all the comments, and Gregg she is on a diet and slowly but surely she is dropping weight, she was overweight when I got her, and I've been working on getting her down to a more healthy weight. I'm at work so I can't give a current weight, but last weigh in she was at 80 grams. Also for everyone else interested in the Black eye trait, I have her brother, who also has the solid black eyes and similar striped pattern. I will post a pic of him when I get home tonight.

What a chubby girl, even got meat on her cheeks!! How cute! At that size I was thinking she might be 90+ grams; am supprised that she's only 80g.

Mandisa's brother

Here are a couple pics of the male, as you can see he does have a similar pattern as his sister, and Black Eyed P. It is very interesting indeed.

You can check out the pics at his site. Only difference is that his gecko looked like a snow when it was born.

Steve's isn't a homozygous Bell, it might be a het though. I know it came out of a Bell project but I'm not sure if it is a het or a possible. Either way it's freaking cool!

I wish I knew what BEP looked like as a hatchling. I believe the people that Josh bought Mandisa and Onyx from said they were similar to super snows as hatchlings, but I can't remember exactly, he'll have to elaborate. BTW Josh, I am jealous as hell! You have a pair of gems at your house, but you know that! :)
