    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Manny J Frade (Stole $2700) Very bad guy(Miami Fl)

we all should be as lucky as you my friend, and never have a bad check given at the same time give one out, so lucky things like that never happen. good for you!! IF the kid started the thread honestly he would of started by stating i never dodged him, always answered his calls and always told him the truth, was out of town and could not make right until i got home 1 week later, then his girlfried was gonna kick him out of the house or he was gonna jump off a building sort of followed, i did good, unfortuneately what happened happened. does anyone remember its not about getting knocked down its about getting up, i think i got up pretty good, i could of let him wait till i got back from my vacation..so you're welcome everyone!!! Many given the number of Scammers in the reptile world I can't say as I blame the guy for getting a bit excited. Yeah I'm sure his calling all the time was a real pain but put youself in his shoes, thinking he just got taken. Read some threads here and you'll see more than one thread that sounds like your story but they were not made right in the end.

Your coming here talking about him when no matter how you slice it the fault is yours and yours alone . And before you say anything,, yeah chit happens and good on ya for getting it taken care of but talking him down here is rather low.... Randy

First, I have never written a check counting on anther check to clear. That was unprofessional and I said as much. It's not luck. It's doing the right thing. The funds from a check are usually available in one to two business days but may not clear the other bank for another one to two days. If you draw on them and don't have overdraft protection then you may bounce a check. No matter what, it's on you. As for the rest of it, how was he to know at the time that you were telling the truth? Maybe you were, maybe you weren't.

He may have acted like a lunatic, but you bounced a check. That isn't about me Manny, or about the OP. It's about you. That you made it good was the least you could do, not the most. So you did good? Sort of. You righted a wrong, almost.

I have to have at least a little bit of sympathy for Manny and his conversations/ dealings with Dave Savickey having first hand knowledge of what a complete piece of garbage Dave truly is. Should he have waited for the check to clear before writing one against it??... Probably. After making the mistake of not doing so did he then make it as right as the situation would allow???... I think so yes. Truth be told a small, childish part of me wishes that Dave would have gotten swindled out of the $2700... it's about $800 more than what he ripped me off for.

Manny lost more sales as a result of his lousy attitude than he did with the bounced check. I can never understand the logic behind someone doing the right thing and then wiping it out by bashing the customer. If Manny had just said something to the affect that "I was on vacation and took care of it as soon as I could, sorry it happened" then he would have looked good, instead of the pompous *** he comes off as here.

Yes, but you blamed others for your mistake. Taking responsibility and not blaming someone else's check and the other party, despite his own shortcomings, is my issue with you.

I might slip but I will take responsibility for my own actions if and when I do. I won't blame someone else and take attitude with them. This was $2700 which is a sizable chunk of change to many people. That the OP may have acted like a jerk doesn't give you cause to say what you did

No one here is suggesting that you didn't make it right. You did. Blaming others for a totally avoidable mistake of your own creation and being a pompous buffoon about it is what I, and others, take issue with.

Sorry that you got screwed over. Its always iffy with checks... stupid thing is thaf the bank said it cleared when it didnt. Maybe hold them liable for the transaction amount? Idk if thats possible but check and see could be a good back up plan. Goodluck!

I think the point of reviving this thread was to point out current and past issues with this guy, if anyone decides to deal with him again. You know, after the whole jail part.

Does it matter why it was bumped? Really? It should be bumped monthly IMO.

He's shown to be a POS. on several occasions and he won't stop still jailed. Than I'd bet his cronies have learned to be as he is.

I'd like to see him treated as he should be. :shootfoot
