    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Mark and Mike Peters of Boston Mass. Had several posts in the august listings of kingsnake.com for lab style rat cages. I ordered 10 of them in the amount of $245.Once they received my money via paypal I have never heard from them again.I e-mailed them everyday for 2 weeks with not one response.I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they were out of town or computer malfunction.After a few more days I e-mailed them again using my wife's e-mail address and claiming that I was a perspective customer interested in purchasing some cages from them.Guess what?<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> They responded within an hour!!!! I replied back informing them of what I had done and that they had 24 hrs to respond or I would report them to everyone I could.Any info on these 2 guys would be appreciated.All the info I have is that there names are Mark and Mike Peters from Boston Mass.There e-mail address is   [email protected]   Thanks everyone.
 
At this point contacting PayPal and reporting them is probably the best you can do.

Report them to Kingsnake, Paypal and the FBI internet fraud dept.  
That should get their attention quite quickly.

Save all the emails as proof of your attempts to contact them.

If you report them to PAYPAL and they have the money still in their paypal account Paypal will refund your money. But be sure to report them to Kingsnake, and the FBI Internet Fraud commision.
 
Interestingly enough, you weren't the first to get taken by them. About a week ago, another individual had posted a nearly identical complaint.

I would file a complaint with PayPal ASAP, as time is not on your side.

I'd like to give Mike Peters, aka Mark Peters, aka Mark Kelly, the benefit of doubt, but I have a hard time believing that someone who goes by multiple pseudonyms and uses an anonymous email account to be legit. Additionally, his business practices, which seem to be shoddy at best, raise an eyebrow. This is definitely someone to be avoided.
 
I got an e-mail from paypal and they stated that they have begun there investigation on this case.Thanks to everyone for the informative info on this matter.A small correction on the names.Mark's last name is Kelly.So thats MARK KELLY and MIKE PETERS.There  e-mail address is:  [email protected]
 
Paypal will help.  They will require that they take care of this or they will freeze their account.  I would also report them to the internet fraud department of the FBI.  You will get your money back because they will have to prove that they shipped to you.  They may also loose their paypal account which will be a plus for all of us.
