    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Nah. I think it's better for them to pip on their own and I think their mother needs a break from me constantly messing with her eggs. I'll just check back in again in an hour or so and see if I can get pics of new heads peeking out. I do hope they're not all normals. The deli cup baby is a normal and the egg with the large slit looks to be a normal. The other egg pipping just has a tiny slit so far and I can't tell what's in there. Surely there will be some mojaves in here for me.

It's official! :) I've hatched my very first morph!

She let u just reach in and touch her egg?

She's become accustomed to me checking in with her. The first week she was hissing and striking at me but it didn't take her long to figure out I wasn't going to hurt her or mess up her nest. :)

As of this morning there are a couple more eggs with slits but so far no heads peeking out.

I believe so, yes. This is only my third year doing this but from what I've seen with my females they prefer sticking around the nest until the hatchlings are gone.

Sent before I was finished.

They seem to stick around and watch what's going on in the nest. This female has been flicking her tongue over each of the newly pipped eggs and keeps repositioning herself in there. Once the babies are gone, though, I doubt she'll have any interest in the egg shells left behind.

From the look of things, I believe I have 3 mojaves and 2 normals so far with three more eggs left to pip.

The last two babies finally hatched out and were moved to a hatchling tub with the other. There are 4 Mojaves and 4 Normals. They haven't shed yet but I wanted to get some quick snapshots of the group anyway. Not that they were very cooperative. I'd forgotten just how much baby balls like to move when you have a camera in hand. ;)

One of the babies has an odd belly.

At least.. I thought it was odd until I took a closer look at mom's belly.

She's supposed to be het burgundy according to her previous owner's receipt. This is the only normal baby that really has the same belly markings. If it's male I might hold this one back. I'm waiting until they shed to get more pics and to sex them all.

Very nice! Hope that one is a male maybe you can prove the mom and baby out. Wonder if the mojaves have any distinguishing het characteristics.
