    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I checked my PayPal account and see he failed to refund the money.

Matt, does it take an act of God to get you to refund my money? You got the snake hooks I sent back - now how about refunding the money.

Thanks, and I appreciate the links you provided. I'm going to contact the Better Business Bureau within the week. The bureau makes the results of its disputes publicly available. I have no problem whatsoever making publicly known what a terrible mistake it was for me doing business with MG Reptiles.

Does anyone have any other resources I can use to make publicly known my dealings with MG Reptiles? Any other agency/party I can complain?

Can I get a list of vendors that have recommended MG Reptiles in the past? I would like to contact them as well.

Early next week I will contact PayPal and express my dissatisfaction with doing business with MG Reptiles and why I believe Matt Graybeal manipulated me during my Dispute so it would expire and essentially voiding a Claim from being filed. I will bring into evidence a past history of his business mis-dealings from others on this forum. I expect my complaint will require going up to the admin or corporate level.

I emailed Matt today. Here's the email (I deleted my phone numbers in this post):

I bought 3 snake hooks from you on October 17, 2006. The snake hooks were not made of stainless steel as advertised on your website; instead, they were made of plastic. After numerous unsuccesful attempts at getting a hold of you, I sent the snake hooks back. You received the 3 snake hooks on December 26, 2006.

As per your request on March 14, 2007 on the Fauna Classifieds Board of Inquiry (BOI), I sent you an email so we could contact PayPal together to resolve the issue of refund you claim you sent. It's been 7 weeks since I emailed you at your request and I have not received either an email/phone call response or a PayPal refund from you.

Please contact me as soon as possible so we can both address the issue of a refund with PayPal.

A heads up. I called and spoke to a represenative at PayPal and she instructed me what to do in my efforts to step up my complaint of Matt Graybeal at MG Reptiles. Appearantly I may still have resolution and get my money back. She advised me PayPal would wait for my message and investigate the matter against Matt Graybeal.

I'll keep the board informed on my efforts to get my money back from Matt. If he's not going to do the right thing, then let's put a little fire under his feet to force his hand.

No clue, but it would appear to be a proverbial "butt load".
 
I have no clue about paypal, but I believe with Visa if more than 3% of transactions result in dispute you lose your merchants account.

I'm not quite sure on the actual number Doc, but I was working with PayPal on a dispute through ebay once where the customer service rep at PayPal told me the guy I was disputing had over 30+ reversal transactions. I was amazed and asked why they weren't limiting or closing his account and it was explained to me that the ratio of complaints to total successful transactions coupled with the fact the money was available by this seller through his bank account or direct PayPal funds to successfully reverse each transaction was what kept the guy in good grace.

They did tell me that they often side with the buyer when things like disputes do arise when a seller has a long history of reversals.
 
 
I'm still waiting for Matt at MG Reptiles to call me at one of the several phone numbers I've left him, repeatedly. He should at least email me, well, I won't hold my breath. At any rate, I've written him several more times, just emailed him a few minutes ago.

He sends cheap plastic snake hooks instead of the high quality stainless steel ones. I send them back, and he doesn't even refund my money. Amazing.

Matt will never ever call you. Ive even went as far as to try and block my number and he wouldn't answer. I will never buy from him again. And if you get a email it will be one of his many storeys on why he hasn't sent out your stats ,heat ,tape ,Hooks. Just keep calling and leaving messages maybe he'll give back what is owed. I got a response from Matt last night!

I'm thinking he may have blocked my primary email account. I sent him an email using my secondary one instead (blocked here for spammer's sake), and then got the following response. That, or he responded to my warning of a lawsuit, I'm not sure which.

Doc, I think he passed hypocrisy a looooong time ago and went straight into plain ol' stupid..... and the language he has used to some lately makes even an old soldier like myself blush sometimes....:eek:

I ignored Matt calling me an idiot. My email messages to him have been concise and to the point, as I would expect in return from a businessman like Matt. Matt certainly isn't above a little name calling to put his customers in their place.

So instead of taking care of a problem that -Matt created- and has made worse by his business incompetence, he instead engages in name calling to his customers.

Kinda of gives me a weird sick feeling in my belly knowing Matt aka insane targets is getting into guns. With someone that unstable things will probably not end well.
