    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Not only did Matt try to make the deal good for you at his own expense...but he is willing to pray for you as well...

I have read through a whole of this mess and figured I would put my two cents in. I do not doubt that Matt was probably less than honest on a couple of statements. When he was asked to show his phone bill, all of a sudden, he was offering to make things right with Jim. I think this should have been offered long before the complaint to the BOI and I am not sure if measures were taken prior to that or not.

But Jim, the way you have handled this whole situation has definitely not helped you! And I don't understand calling his (or his mother's) house.

And, as far as Top Shelf Exotics goes, an endorsement from there wouldn't hold the weight of a feather!! I had one interaction with that company and between the extremely unprofessional interaction and the responses he has done during this issue, especially picking on somebody over their spelling, is beyond explanation OR justification. How pathetic is that to pick on another person's weakness? I have known very intelligent people who have trouble spelling and by Chris' above statement he is putting down anybody who is not a good speller as attesting or giving creditability to the person's character. I think calling somebody names and and being unprofessional says a whole lot more!!

I have to say, Brian, that if I were to go simply by trader rating...Chris must not have been able to satisfy you...kind of like Matt couldn't satisfy Jimmy.

I mean...Top Shelf Exotics is the second highest rated trader...right after Matt Graybeal...and right before Casey Hulse...hmmm...the TWO people that Jim happens to have had all his problems with...

Seems pretty fishy to me...if everyone else that has dealt with these people has nothing but good things to say(and this is what we have ALL been trying unsuccessfully to point out to Jimmy Boy)maybe the problem doesn't lie with the seller...

But people who point fingers are rarely wrong...
It is ALWAYS someone else's fault...

I don't mean to come down on you...you very well may have had a bad transaction...but Chris's reputation and standing on the BOI are impeccable...and lend much credibility to his opinion on this matter...regardless of what you may think of him.

Chris never once stated that anybody who cant spell is poor of character. You stated that. Are you trying to rally the members against Chris by your comments?

O.k. Chuck... If that is not what Chris was implying, what is the point of picking on Jim because of spelling errors and calling him names? Explain the relevance of that to Jim's complaint.

Just because you inferred his meaning as this..does not mean it has anything to do with character...we can argue semantics all day.

He was merely taking a cheap shot at someone whose life seems to REVOLVE around taking cheap shots...and I applaud him for it.
Besides he has a point insofar as reading derelict script from someone who writes at a 3rd grade level is tedious at best. If you are trying to rally people to your cause the least you could do is write intelligibly. Otherwise it is akn to mocking the people with whom you are trying to establish a peer relationship. If you do not have enough repsect for yourself OR the people with whom you are communicating to at least make an EFFORT to do it properly, it shows a lack of concern for your credibilty and the topic at hand. And I personally construe it as a lack or weakness of character.

Besides, it's not like he misspelled "onomatopoeia"...he misspelled a simple two syllable FOUR LETTER word.

Fact remains, if you simply cannot comprehend common english on a level where forming a four letter word is possible, you need help. Especially after being corrected numerous times.

And trust me, if you're on the recieving end of anything I have to say thats negative, you certainly deserved it.

Chris implied nothing. He stated that Jim sucks at spelling and he does. He never stated as a fact or even implied that "anybody" who cant spell is an illiterate baffoon. You have. That was your interpretation of his statement.

GIVE IT UP MAN. NO one is going to agree with you! If Matt can deal with me and not run the other way when he sees my email he is doing something right! You on the other had have beaten a dead and rotted horse to death. I think you just want to see how long you can keep this tread going. I really think the mods should just lock it, on the other hand at least it keeps your ramblings in one spot. I could understand if he didnt offer a refund, that is all you can ask for! It is very obvious in his eyes (and 99.9999% of the other people here, excluding you) he is NOT telling a fib. BTW thanks to you I reorder more stuff as I saw he was not just being nice to me, that it was his standard practice to be a swell, upstanding, and very honnorable professional person.
