    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Matt Martin-Monster Cages sold fake genetics, and now won't answer for it.

Long story short, my brother and I invested into a pair of Matt Martin's "double het blizzard" retics. Matt was fortunate enough to get his hold back '07 pair to breed, and the female laid eggs on the 27th of Febuary. My brother noticed that one of Matt's clutches of het g-stripe superdwarfs, a clutch that was laid AFTER the blizzard clutch, started hatching today via Matt's post on his FB. So my brother called me, and I told him to get in contact with Matt, as surely the b;iazzard clutch had to have hatched. When my brother posted on Matt's FB about the blizzards, the post was deleted, so he posted it again on both of Matt's FB pages. Needless to say that post was removed too, and my brother was banned from Matt's page. As customers of Matt and investors into his "blizzard" project, my brother and I should have to right to updates reguarding these "genetics". These are Matt's animals and his project, and any self-respecting breeder would share their findings on a possible new genetic, especially when people have bought into the project. Matt is a shady individual, and I don't reccomend him at all. I was sent screenshots of everything that was posted and said, including pictures of the snake's clutches and dates. So if anyone needs me to post them just ask
 
I'm a tiny bit confused on exactly what happened...you guy invested? so did you buy an animal? send money to help fund a project?

any proof you have of the claims you are making would be great, since "selling fake genetics" is kind of a big deal.

Do you have proof that the genetics are fake? or is this all based on him blocking you from Facebook?

This project is 5 years in the making and it was always a possible shot at this Dh blizzard project and I am sorry that I have been busy with possible divorce and haven't had chance to deal with many this weekend. So sorry and didn't see your post but did see that Jesus was removed from The Kru page with some other drama that he started with another BIG breeder. The project is out of egg and sitting in my garage right now and waiting for them to shed.

Jesus don't forget that you sent me a Suntiger het amel that died as part of this trade and you refused to take care of it for me also. Might want to check your stuff first.

You want to know what Matt got out of his blizzard breeding since they should have already hatched.

Not having seen your fb posts, I do not know how they were worded, and so do not know why they were erased.

Have you thought of just picking up the phone and calling Matt?
 
No Jesus or Angel (same person) has not tried to call me at all on this. I was only taking mostly phone calls the last week considering i just lost my dog and now looking at possible divorce, been a rough week but when i lost my dog Jesus said he was sorry for my loss and didn't bring it up then and that was a week from this last Friday. There are several that have this project and yeah we are truly waiting for this to prove or disprove this year and everyone knew it was not a proven project or the Double Hets would have been worth alot more considering how Jay's snows are and these have no dwarf in them. Jesus and Angel are just trying to start some issues. I apologize I didn't respond right away on Facebook but have had some things to deal with hear sorry.

Jesus don't forget you still owe me Suntiger het Amel and even Matthew Miller knows the details there and can attest to it. After babies shed I will be posting them up and everything. There is something going on with this clutch but don't want to jump the gun and say it is or not proven till after they shed since alot of things change when babies first come out. That was funny Lucille, i thought the same thing.
 
First off I want to say that I am also invested in this blizzard project. I can also tell you that from the beginning I was told that axanthic gene had not been proven and may never prove out. For me this is why I invested in the project no my dh animals were not cheap but I feel the price was more than fair compared to the price of similar aged bet albinos and worth the gamble and even if the axanthic gene doesn't prove to be genetic you got a pair of sd het albinos that may have been a bit higher than market value but they also gave you a chance at being in on a LIMITED project. I don't personally know the situation with the animals you sending Matt dying but I can say this you are throwing a fit about the idea of unproven genetics not proving and calling him out and saying he sold fake hets...... Perhaps you need to do some research into what the word unproven means. I wouldn't call Matt shady but from your complaint and the idea that the animals you traded for your hets died I would think
Matt would be the one with grounds to complain as you have failed to pay for the hets to begin with

I commented on Jesus' second post since it was rather rude, and basicly said "Maybe there was a reason it was removed, why don't you message Matt directly and see, instead of dragging drama onto his page"

He responded, somewhat nicely on the FB page but followed that up with a private message to me. And I quote: (I'll put a screen grab up later :))

Matt's a nice guy. Going through a lot. Maybe the project is being kept on the low?Maybe it was one of the other admins that removed the post/removed you Jesus?

Either way. It's clear Jesus is a child. If his public post's were even half of what he sent me in private, I'd of banned him as well.

Matt for future reference, don't deal with children. It never end's well.

P.S. "Possible Hets" don't have any guaranteee..

I also want to throw this idea out there..... a double het project legitimately gives a 1 in 16 shot at producing a double visual.... I also remember the conversation I had with Matt saying his AVERAGE clutch size on SD's being about 16 eggs... Do the math.. wouldnt be hard to miss out on these odds in one clutch......YA KNOW I JUST THROWIN THIS OUT THERE FOOD FOR THOUGHT AND ALL

All I know is that I was told the axanthic hadn't been proven out yet. I didn't actually buy them direct from Matt, but later from someone who had to move their animals, and Matt vouched for them. He explained what had happened so far and what he HOPED would happen. That was the risk with these guys. Would I be disappointed if they're just het for albinos? Ya, but I have not right to be angry or abusive about it. As for matt's responsiveness, he emailed me this morning to let me know they hatched and he'd keep me informed. Maybe your attitude was the problem.
 
Altho I agree it's always nice of a breeder to keep in contact with people who have purchased unproven genetics from them, it's not required of them to do so.

If someone no longer wants to talk to you, deal with you, or allow you access to their life (or their Facebook page) then they have every RIGHT to remove you from their day to day lives.

That does not make them a Bad Guy.

When you buy unproven genetics, you have to be willing to take these type of chances.
 
Possible het is just that. Possible. Sometimes the risk pans out, sometimes it doesn't. There is no need to get bent out of frame and start a ruckus.
 
Frankly, after seeing how the OP put up a drama llama bad guy thread that does not look like it is warranted, and seeing the kind of unprofessional language he uses, I don't think I'd do business with him.

Unproven means just that, just because someone has invested in something doesnt dictate guarenteed results or immediate for that matter.

Matt, just like everyone else, has a life outside the reptile community, no one has the right to expect otherwise regardless of what they believe they are owed.

My transactions and communication with Matt have always been professional and prompt when he isnt busy with life, but knowing what hes going through its safe to justify any lack of instantanious communication.

Jesus needs to grow up and learn some of that professionalism if he wants to keep any kind of positive relationship with this community, if he cannot he has no business working with anyone on anything.
