    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Matt, how can you blame OTHERS for the demise of your business when it was your lack of professionalism, scamming, and ripping people off that brought yourself down? This many negative BOI threads and individual experiences within the BOI threads is not a coincidence! It's overwhelming proof that you sank your own ship!
 
Maybe that last part was intended for himself? I wonder who typed it , not a single typo that I caught.

It was my understanding that after 50% of negative votes, he is moved into the Bad Guy section. As it stands, 70 positive, and 75 negative...a little higher than 51%. :shrug01:
 
I thought he had more orders then he could handle and that the BOI was ineffective.....Go figure.

You know guys, there's one other thing to remember, perhaps even reflect upon when gazing bleery eyed into our mirrors, regretting that we had to leave our cozy beds and loved ones to get up and make a living.

Matt was one of us. He was a truly good guy. Something happened and he turned but none-the-less, he was someone a lot of us recommended as an example to newbs, to folks just starting out.

As bad as he got, as dark as he became, as blind as he is, he's only two or three steps from where he was, next to us, here at the top of the pyramid.

I'm as big a pirhana, hell I've been called a shark more than once, I'm a flesh eater by trade, as anyone else here but, and it's a big but, something just doesn't feel satisfying about tearing matt a new one, going over his fall, toasting his stupidities and saluting his ignorance.

For those who believe in a big guy up stairs I've heard this line, "there but for the grace of god go I," and for the rest, what's your house made of? Got any glass in it? Got any rocks in the gardens? Ever get frustrated?

matt certainly screwed up, no doubting of that. It just doesn't ........ it's like putting down a wounded rabbit at this point. You know the things going to die, the hunter shot it's jaw off, it can't eat, it's wasting away, it's going to die, so you give it a stretch and it's done. One less dumbass bunny mucking up his life and the lives of those around him.
 
I have to agree with you Wes. I don't know what happened with Matt either, but I had an awful lot of good deals with him, and sought his advice on several occassions, which he gladly gave. I did, and still do, consider him a friend. That may piss some people off, but like you, I'm very sad to see this situation end the way it did. Matt really was a good guy in my book at one point. I don't know what happened, but I wish it had been different.
 
I wonder if the COUNTLESS DOZENS that Matt ripped off their hard earned money from and screwed over feel as warm and fuzzy about him as you two do?

I have no sympathy for Matt, my sympathy goes where it rightly belongs. To all those people who put their trust and hard earned money in Matt only to be stolen from, lied to, taken advantage of, treated like crap, etc, etc, etc.
 
It sucks that it came down to this for him. But I can't feel sorry for what a man does to himself. What ever the reasons are. Disappointment for me stopped long ago. It's a waste of energy.
 
Sammy, Doc Owens, Chuck and a few others out there that have sent me pms and emails through this site; it seems I am able to recieve but not reply or send as the initiator of communications.

I've tried to contact all of you and a couple of others in the last few days but have heard back from noone which has me thinking you are not getting my messages.

If you guys would email me at [email protected] I can then resend the messages you have not gotten.

About matt, as Rick said, it's past disappointment but it is still just to the side of all of us.

None of us actually know what made matt turn but ALL of us agree that at one time he was a really good guy. I was merely wondering how it can be so close to so many and what makes some but not others succomb. I do believe that matt deserves what he has gotten, has reaped what he has sown, we are in agreement there just in case there was doubt.
 
I don't know what happened to the guy. All I know is what I read here from the complaints and how Matt responded to handful of them. Matt didn't handle those complaints very well. He suffered people for absolutely no reason. He suffered a few even extra just because they complained here on the BOI. I say to hell with him and his poor starving kids. He did this to himself.

He got frustrated? Phook him! What did he get so frustrated over? Wiring up a thermostat? Cutting flexwatt into lengths? Pre-wiring it? Come on man! This is no skill kind of stuff. A monkey could do this kind of labor for bananas and never let you down.

Comparing him to a bunny with his jaw shot off from a blind ass hunter? I'd smack the hunter in the face and swipe his gun. Stupid cockeyed hunter. Then I'd crush the bunnies skull.
 
I didn't feel sorry for Bill Leverton , Chris Johnson or any other " good guy " that I had respect for and turned bad. I won't feel sorry for Matt. He was given entirely too much input and advice that he refused to listen to for me to feel sorry for him. Disappointment doesn't ever scratch how I feel for Matt , whom at one time I considered a friend. He did this to himself at no fault to others.

Matt Graybeal took advantage of his customers by lying to them and stealing from them. the list of people that he screwed was very long!

I may be misinterpreting Wes's post, but to me it spoke of the innocents involved. The completely innocent ones that had absolutely nothing to do with the transactions.......



.......His family. Regardless of what Matt did to himself, he also did it to his family. They get to pay a price for not even being involved. For them, I do feel sympathy.
 
Sorry gang, but I agree with Sammy. matt not only took on orders that he cold not fill in a timely manner, blamed others for his problems, and lets not forget about the his attempt to price fixing with DThomas.

A seller with true remorse would have never sent he nasty pm's to the mods here and the attack on Kelli H. was just too much to stomach. That's not the behavior of a seller that any of the posters on this thread admire and or respect. And I for one will never forget what he has done.

I do feel bad for his family, small business failings are common and with the home loan industry in hot water right now, I feel for anyone that got in over their heads.

You'll get no argument out of me.

For whatever reason Matt decided to self destruct, he made the choice to do so. That's what I find disappointing.

That choice led to actions which harmed a lot of people. The way he treated his customers was unconscionable, and his comments to Kelli were vile and disgusting. I feel sympathy for the people he harmed, and the people who will probably continue to suffer from his actions (his family).

That's what I find sad, that because of Matt's choices, people have been hurt and will continue to be.

But Matt is the one who made the choice he did, and he's getting everything he deserves as a result. I wish the situation had turned out differently not for his sake, but for the people he hurt.
