In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Matt Shrimplin

no the thing i am getting at is that i am pretty sure you knew about the problems before getting the gecko but yet chose to get it. maybe he gave you a good deal or something. it just makes me wonder about your ethics as well.

and even though i got healthy geckos from matt. matt should not have shipped that gecko out whether you knew or no

to be honest though if i was allee i would be more worried about the geckos you sent her, the "happy geckos" than the one she got from matt.

I bought the gecko as part of a trio which is common practice for Matt Shrimplin. Saying that I would deliberately purchase a sick animal because it was cheap is simply ridiculous.

You just want to mudsling because the problem that this thread pertains to has nothing to do with ANY of MY animals. Keep grabbing at straws if you'd like, it only shows that you are struggling for material.

Robin, you're always trying to start something. Even with me over the smallest things. You need to be respectful of my wishes in the thread I started and drop it. The issues have been resolved, apologies have been given, he admitted that I was right and he was wrong. So drop it.

See why the BOI is better suited for this type of stuff you guys?

Now... let's all calm down and wait and see what sort of resolution Allee gets from Matt. Logically... Ken did only have the gecko for 5 days. If Ken was aware that the animal was think from breeding etc and still chose to purchase it, and send it to Allee, fine. BUT (and yes I do have a big butt ;-p) I've been thinking about this for a bit and I feel that the issue should be between Ken and Matt, not Allee and Matt, as Ken was the original purchaser of the gecko. What I am getting at here is this:

Person A buys a gecko from me. They have it for one week. They then ship it to Person B who has it for a minimum of 2 weeks. After 2 weeks (minimum), Person B (who did NOT buy a gecko from me), contacts me with issues they are having with the animal.

I have no idea who Person B is. I only dealt with Person A, not Person B. The gecko had changed hands and it is now somewhere around 3 weeks later. Why should I deal with Person B at all. They were not my customer. Do you guys see what I am getting at?

Might be time for a TOS change for H.I.S.S... hmmm.

I see your point Kelli. Very valid.

Our resolution was I pay $50, and I did 2 hours ago, and he sends me 2 geckos in replacement.

So it's been resolved.

The reason Allee addressed the problem was simply because the problem was not apparent during the time that the animal was with me. Allee knows better the details of the problem. The two of us were in constant contact and if it was necessary I would have contacted Matt myself. At any rate the problem has been resolved and all parties in involved are satisfied.

BTW, I think Robin was trying to make the same point too, really. She's not a troublemaker or troll, she's just more blunt than I am.

point⋅less  [point-lis]
–adjective
1. without a point: a pointless pen.
2. blunt, as an instrument.
3. without force, meaning, or relevance: a pointless remark.
4. without a point scored, as in a game: a pointless inning.

I said similar, not the same. I was referring to Robin bringing up my animals in a thread pertaining to an animal that was sold by another breeder. My animals are a separate issue and were not the basis for this thread. No matter how blunt, Robin's comment about my animals was it remains pointless in regard to this thread.

On a side note, your comprehension skills are lackluster, quite a few posts ago it was stated that the problems brought up in this thread have been resolved and all parties involved are satisfied, you just want to keep making waves because you have nothing better to do with your time.
