    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Okay, so whether or not there are actually two different people doesn't matter as much as which one is ACTUALLY trying to sell their snakes.  If you guys are such close friends and spend that much time at each other's places, how are people supposed to believe that this other guy, Barry, is actually the one that owns and takes care of the snakes and wants to sell them (especially when Matt posted ads for the same snakes)?  Also, if one person has ripped people off, I sure as hell wouldn't trust a good friend of his either...  Does this make sense?  I don't care who says that you're two different people.  Your past dealings speak for themselves, as well as who you associate yourself with.
 
I'm a bit of a linguistics geek.  I study Spanish, Greek, Hebrew, and a bit of Cherokee, and one of the most fascinating things about us all is how we speak as individuals.

That being said, let me say that I think that Barry and Matt are indeed the same person.  The reason I say this is because he/they have continually made the same grammatical error throughout his/their posts.  He/they both wrote that we all have "to much time" on our hands to be question him/them.  However, he/they also used the word "too" in places in his/their postings where it would be synonymous with the word "also."  Now, that is not a big deal; lots of people misuse the words "to, too, and two" when they are typing.  Lots of others misuse "there, their, and they're" as well.  Even more people get "who and whom" confused in their usages.  

What is INTERESTING in this case, however, is that BOTH Matt and Barry make the very same mistakes in inexactly the same ways!  They both are in error when "too" is used as a modifier for quantities (writing "to" instead), but they are both correct in using "too" as a synonym for "also."

Now, I know that it can be too difficult to correctly disperse just two forms of words that have the same sound, but when there are three as in the case of "to, two, and too;" well, that can be just too much for two guys sharing two brain cells between them!
 
If you were really interested in finding out the truth you would plain and simple.
Glad that Barry and myself give you guys something to do during the day.

If you are interested in finding out the truth instead of making remarks that you can't back up then give a email and lets talk otherwise do your homework before you make a statement that you can't back up.

I have been in touch with Both Matt and Barry, and they will not be able to meet with me at the MHS meeting due to Barrys work schedule.   We may be able to work something else out, we'll see.  

However, regardless of what happens or doesn't happen.  I think that the crude gay humor is way out of line and has no reason being anywhere in this thread.  Are we interested in finding out the truth or just slinging around insults?

Well, today is the day! I came on here to start a pool about which excuse Matt/Barry will use to back out of the meeting. But it looks like he has already done it. What a shock (cough, cough)!

But I know how to fix it-since you guys are so close, and spend so much time together, then it shouldn't be difficult for Matt to come to the meeting and bring 'Barry's' ID of some sort. Anything with a photo will do.

Now, I can start another pool. My pick for the excuse Matt will use for not showing up today is: Hmmmm....there are so many to choose from- I think that I will go with Matt saying that he would have come, but he forgot all about it. It's a good pick.

Who wants to go next? Matt saying that he tried to come, but could not find the place is still available.

I can confirm that I have received E-mail from Matt, and we have agreed to meet at the truck stop in Cannon Falls next Wednesday at noon. Barry will be with him.  I'll be checking ID's and also bringing my digital camera to get positive proof that they are seperate individuals.

O.K. if fellow herpers want to know what happen i made a trade offer to him I approached him so i took the gamble i packaged them great airborne screwed up he claimed all the animals died.  I asked for pictures never received i wanted him to absorb some of my losses he never responded. You guys can believe what you want.  I was out for a bit due to my divorce and the one problem trade I had was taking care of (alvaro).  You guys can pull up what you want try to make more stuff pop up but the sad fact is that it is not hurting business right now cause all the trades or selling that I have done lately has gone really good and people are happy.

If you (whoever reads this) doesn't want to do business with me that is ok and that is your right.  There are always the ones that will do business with me, like the last trade i did.  Last week for about $2000 worth of animals.

I have a ton of references and can be provided to any possible future trades or sales.

You guys will never drop anything cause there is nothing better to do for you guys.

I got involved before with a shady individual and learned my lesson and I am sure he is still learning his with him being in jail right now.

I will continue to do business with people and show you that this is on the straight and narrow, just like the trades lately.
