    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I heard mealworms turn into beetles after a while. I had found some where the worms had hid underneath the paper towel and some turned into beetles. I cleaned out the tank and thought I got them all. Today one crept out of the driftwood right in front of my dragon. Before I had a chance to get it the beardie gobbled it down. Does anyone know if it would hurt him or not? So far he's ok but I wasn't sure if there would be any problems later. :unhappy:

I feed my guys the beetles all the time. Just make sure you don't let really small beardies eat them. The shells are hard to digest and pass.

He's still fairly young. I would pass on giving him the Beatles until he's at least 12"-13" in length. Better safe than sorry..... :)

Well I didn't plan on giving him the beetle. I thought I got them all out after I found some of the worms had changed. I just hope there are no more in there. I even put the driftwood in the oven and that sucker still survived.

take those beatles put them in some dry oatmeal with a carrot for food and water and they will start beeding and then you will have your own supply of mealworms

Its too late. I didn't know that and I got rid of them. But thanks for the info for later.

you should get you some adult meal worms and let them start morphing into beatles and if you can get about 50 not even that you will have plenty of meal worms for yourself. at first it seems like for ever before you start seeing anything but when they start growing up they just keep coming and coming

Thats great. I spend a lot on mealworms. It would be nice to do my own and save it for all the other stuff I need since I have 3 bearded dragons.

and actually you shouldnt feed alot of meal worms to bearded dragons it is like candy for them not a diet they should be a treat.

Brenda did you end up getting those 2 females from Sunshine Dragons? Noticed you said you had 3 now, would like to see some picks if you can. I always think of getting 1 from them but am always scared to get a dragon based solely on what the parents look like since they rarely show pics of babies.

Yes I did and it so funny while I was deciding to get one, my son was trying to get the same ones as a gift for me. I will try to post pictures tomorrow but my digital camera is not that good and they are going through a shed. They are almost done. But I tell you they are beautiful. And I met someone that got one from them like 8 months ago and she said its a beautiful one also. I was very pleased with them and all the help they gave me.
