    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yeah I was noticing today that my one of my snakes that I tamed down became aggressive again. Not sure what happened but noticed when it is touched it vibrates tail and then strikes and tries to musk you. This snake has not always been the nicest snake and was even traded to me as a mean snake so I knew it was a mean snake already. I am not really asking anything but more or less complaining cause it has bitten me about a total of 15 times and I have only owned it 1 month. Odd thing is once it has bitten it calms down and even don't mind its head touched. Guess it must just be a butthole I would have thought maybe it was insecure in its enclosure but this thing sits on top of her rock and stays there without really using any hides.

Oh yeah this was an Albino Cali King, I am curious if being albino might make it more aggressive cause I always heard albino animals can't see well to begin with.

lol. That makes me feel better to know someone elses cal king is that way. They are intimidating when they are striking their butt off. Thats funny everyone in my area asks me the same thing I end up taking a bunch of mean snakes.

I noticed once I get the bites over with they are calm down a lot.

Cal kings are very commonly like that. I've kept many dozens of them over the years and the vast majority were not trust worthy. I'm not one to handle them very often either so that just added to the issue.

Once they grow out of the super defensive stage, then they're just in full time feeding mode so they still try to bite something every time the drawer is opened. Only then it's followed by constricting the finger.

lol yeah I am starting to notice how hungry they can always be. I got a knoblochi that is aggressive at feeding and even the other day it hissed striking a mouse. Startled me a little when it did must have been extra hungry. But the knoblochi is ok to handle and still has yet to bite, rattle the tail or anything like that. Truly a pleasure to have.
