    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

what would happen if my clients in my business were never understanding or forgiving?
well..id probably starve.
im not interested in living in a world where i dont trust people, dont forgive people and dont understand human suffering when i see it.

perhaps we can MAKE a reputable breeder out of someone whose intentions are genuine, and hes had a bad few months...at the hands of a woman no less.

Tim ripped me off of about 200.00 about a years ago --I am not surprised to see him doing it again -- if people want details email me --
 
im concerned because if this guy is legitimate, where has he gone and why hasnt he come here to defend himself.?

No. Again, he's not answering his e-mails. Even Dawn came out of the woodwork to comment on my apology, which of course, with him not answering again, has been taken back. They are both flaky.
 
I agree that on the net people can "appear" reputable but the phone still works... call the person you are looking to buy from. How do you know if the person even has a clue about the reptile species you are buying unless you talk to them? I don't sell to someone unless I talk to them on the phone for several reasons, to make sure it isn't some kid using the parents credit card, make sure the person will be competant to work with the species, and to ensure they understand the commitment that is required of them. I have refused several sales due to people not meeting my personal criteria.
It may sound mean but these are animals and not only do I care for them, but it's also my money and time invested. The reason I say all this, is I would hope the buyer would be doing the same sort of assessment on me and my knowledge to ensure I am not just selling them a reptile but assistance and care after the fact.

BTW, did you know that you can complain to KS about a website listed on their site if you have a problem? After several complaints they are banned from having their site hosted and listed. That helps you in finding a reputable dealer/ breeder.

There are not too many sellers out there willing to go to such lengths. Most are in it for a quick buck, which is a shame. Like you said, they're dealing with live animals. Unfortunately, most of them end up dead at the wrong hands. Tim e-mailed me and said he has not gotten involved in this thread because he has done nothing wrong and has nothing to explain. At first, after I heard his story, I tried apologizing and even giving him a second chance by e-mailing him and asking if he had any more desert boxies. He never responded until today when he referred to Willow's comment about him appearing here and explaining himself. Apparently he does not wish to do business, and therefore, neither do I. I'm sure there are plenty of other reputable people who treat their customers, as well as their animals much better than he does. Since he's reading this, he should also take into consideration the number of other people who are also reading this and think about his business reputation. This is not the only place I posted ;)

he just ignores emails.
