    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy MEL KRUGER - CROOK

Dont you just love the audacity of this guy.
He STILL has the temerity to post for sale ads right here on Fauna even though he claims we are all a**ho**s here.....lol
See he does not have the guts to leave the ad open though as he KNOWS how many negative comments that would generate.
Hypocritical to say the least.....
 
Yup he has nothing but negative to say about this site yet checks it religiously at least 3 or 4 times a day! Hopefully people are smart enough to realize that closing a newly posted ad is suspicious. I don't know any honest people that have nothing to hide who do that. To me closing an ad is an automatic red flag and worth investigating before considering buying from that person.
 
Someone should send a link to this thread to the people who run these shows. Unless he's sold them all, I'm sure he will be selling the snakes that he still hasn't paid for and belong to Alex.

Poor Melly Mel... he keeps doing stuff like this, ripping people off for their animals... and then dumb enough to attend a reptile show that he ANNOUCES.

Wow, he has never run into somebody he has ripped off before, and that is obvious. You can get hurt, and I mean, reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hurt doing what he is doing. ;)
 
Anyone know if he has a history of this type of behavior..or is this something new with him?
 
If you go back to post 705 I posted the court documents from a case where Mel was charged with theft, it doesn't say what he stole tho. This may or may not be his firest time doing this within the herpkeeper community but it's definitely not his first time stealing something from someone.

It's unlikely Repticon will do anything, unless the OP contacts them & shows Mel has stolen property, or a police report.

I'm not sure about the other shows.

I believe the op did contact the last show he vended but it was too close to the show for them to do anything hopefully he can call ahead of time for the next few and they will actually do something. I understand they most likely just want the income from the fees they charge to let him vend, I'm just hopeful at least one of them will care about the community enough to not allow him to vend. If the op ever wants to serve Mel with court papers he knows where to find him! I'm sure getting served with legal papers wouldn't be good for business. I truly hope the op decides to sue Mel for the value of the snakes.
 
Looks like Kruger is selling some more of Alex's snakes. I'd post the link to this thread on the ads but he's just going to delete them. Have you contacted the police yet Alex? Or tried to take him to small claims court? Something needs to be done to make Kruger pay for the snakes he stole.
P.s. sorry the pics aren't better, the ads had videos instead of pictures so getting a screen shot was a little difficult.

Finally got the call from the attorney generals office. Took long enough. The beginning of the end of Kruger's shady tactics. Will keep you all posted.

Considering he's already be convicted of theft it's more likely they will do something abouto Alex's case. Alex make sure to mention that he is a convicted felon and owns firearms and that you have proof of that. I'm sure that will get their attention.

Saw Kruger's ads on Facebook and thought of this thread. Any update?

Also note the Facebook ads and in post 814 above the boas are advertised as "1.1 Pastel Hypo Het Moonglow 8 months old" but in the OP they are listed as "1.1 Hypo Het Moonglow ‘15".

Alex I got decent pics from the Facebook ads, were these yours or not? Female is the top pic, male on the bottom.

If they were yours, did they carry the pastel gene or not?

Don't know why he is listing them as pastel. I bet if asked, he would not be able to explain that a pastel truly is. Plus there are possible hets.
