Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So you don't have the 12th snake. You agreed to keep what you have for one gun.
And the kick in the head. If he was to get the kel tec and 10/22, he would still only have 11 snakes. With one needing to be shipped.
It was ok to ship the kel tec and 10/22 for 11 snakes + a promise. But now it is send everything you got.

I am paying attention he says he wants to complete the deal no where in the text you posted does it say he will do it for 11 snakes. You assumed that.

Neither of your links says anything about doing the deal for 11 snakes. One is offering to throw the big snakes in to the deal for one gun. The deal being 12 snakes for 2 guns. The second says keep the snake I'll add it to the trade for one gun. The trade up to this point being 12 snakes for 2 guns. Your assuming it was for the snakes already sent no where does Mel agree to it. It Mel a hard ass yup no doubt about it but he never agreed to anything but 12 snakes.

I am laughing so hard right now at the whole, " I won't have all the snakes in 24hrs." thing. This is what I've known all along. This guy doesn't have all the snakes. I'm willing to bet he's sold some or all of them actually. There is a deal pending for that 12th animal too. Alex, please call his bluff and make him send the animals back. Adding boarding fees to the deal is just his way of making it harder on you. You are very transparent Mr Kruger, stop the games and do the right thing.

Kruger seems to be trying to suck more money or another snake out of this deal, just like he has been doing for a while. I suspect he came out of the woodwork to head off research on himself and his family.
Anyone find any info on the Kruger 'family'? I suspect that some good hunting will net not only some good info as we explore the other members of this 'family business', but that family publicity may be a bargaining chip.

Actually he agreed to do the 9 snakes for the 10/22 plus shipping to return the two larger snakes. Alex said no, ship the gun first then I will talk about the return. They never agreed to anything. Read it again.

You may be correct. KK's command of the English language seems rather lacking based on his posts - I find them very hard to follow as the grammar is awful - and I suspect the whole time he had been texting "this deal" he meant the original deal for the 12 snakes in exchange for just one gun, while BB thought it meant for the 11 that had already been shipped - and which is how I would read them.
BB if I were you I would send the shipping label(s) and be done with this guy only after he sends you pictures of all the snakes next to a piece of paper with today's date written on it, as IMO he needs to provide proof that he still has them since he said weeks ago that four were sold. Assuming that he still has all 11, you're better off getting the snakes back and selling them privately for cash.

In the real world, when you have two parties disagreeing over he said she said. A mediation court would consider all pass deals voided. They would seek a middle ground based on fair market value.

Lucille where did he do anything wrong. Is he a hard ass yes is he asking a stupid amount of trade value for what he's trading yes but he up to this point has done nothing wrong. Alex screwed up. Send him a shipping label if he doesn't return the snakes you have a case. He is under zero obligation to pay for return shipping for Alex's screw up.

Honestly, at his point, I would pay the 75 bucks to ship the snakes back to you, minus the large female.
The large female would pay for the up keep of the others.
You are not going to get the firearm from him. It will never happen. And if you do, I am sure it will not be worth 1,500 dollars.
The large female is worth well over 400 dollars. Keeping the snakes does not cost that much. So let him keep the large female. Ship the rest back.
You will never see that gun. I think this is the only way to go foward.

No I don't do snakes sorry I just don't like it when somebody screws up and blames everybody but themselves for it. You traded for things you couldn't have now you want him to pay for it. Pay the return shipping and be done with it.
As for him saying he sold some of your snakes make him prove he didn't before sending the labels. If he can't then he needs to compensate you for those animals.
